Al Sultan Bakeries & Markets مخابز و أسواق السلطان

Freshly baked samoon and breads. Pastries and cakes. All types of Arabic sweets and Baklava. I tried the cheese Manakeesh. It was good. They also have a seating area for coffee and to dine as well.

Friendly and polite staff.

Paid Parking space is available.

They have reasonably priced breads of all types. Saj, hamam, pita. Though... the shelf life is very poor. Their most popular items without a doubt is the manakeesh. And for good reason. It’s delicious. They have so many options for sweets and other pastries. However, the baklava is honestly not really good in my personal experience, which doesn’t justify its price. They recently expanded their kitchen to include sandwiches all throughout the day. I haven’t tried any yet but the falafel sandwiches looked decent. This place has an outside patio with a big screen tv just in front of the entrance. I really dislike the patio’s location because it gets rowdy when there’s a soccer match on and it’s full of men smoking. I hate the second hand smoke, and the fact that this can potentially deter potential female customers as the men can have staring problems.

I would recommend Manakish ( zaatar , cheese , sijok )

A local bakery that combines eastern and western traditions under the same roof. You will find there fantastic bakhlava as well as French macarons and other pastries. They can also cook a dozen of various kinds of manakish for you.

Very low attitude for customers service, care less, if you will visit the bakeries you should expect bad service
