This early 17th centurt mud and stone fort has been heavily restored in recent months. Originally built to protect the nearby Oasis, it is now in middle of a heavily populated neighbourhood. It is generally locked and visitors are not allowed inside.

Jahli Fort is the centerpiece of Al Ain, beautifully restored with excellent information center within. A must visit. especially for musical events. UAE is justly proud of this place and its setting within the main public park.
