It is very disappointing to see the nasty and racist comments that have been left here. The real story is that AISA is one of the longest-established and most respected international schools in Abu Dhabi. In the most recent ADEC inspection, it was rated as 'Very Good'. The school has an international student body (75 nationalities) and a very strong curriculum which culminates in the IB Diploma in which AISA students' results are always above the world average.

I was one of the OG students from when this school started in 1995. Some of the absolute best years of my life from teachers, friends, coaches, counselors, principle(s), activities, etc. i wouldn’t change a thing. I’m sure the school has changed much since then but so have the students in general. Students and teachers back then were definitely different than today’s, based on the different reviews.

Ye (/jeɪ/ YAY; born Kanye Omari West; June 8, 1977), commonly known as Kanye West[c] (/ˈkɑːnjeɪ/ KAHN-yay), is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer.[3][4][5][6] He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential hip hop musicians of all time, as well as one of the greatest musicians of his generation. Born in Atlanta and raised in Chicago, West gained recognition as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records in the early 2000s, producing singles for several artists and developing the "chipmunk soul" sampling style. Intent on pursuing a solo career as a rapper, he released his debut studio album, The College Dropout (2004), to critical and commercial success. West subsequently founded his record label GOOD Music later that same year.

West explored diverse musical elements such as orchestral arrangements, synthesizers, and autotune on the albums Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), and 808s & Heartbreak (2008). Drawing inspiration from maximalism and minimalism respectively, his fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010) and sixth album Yeezus (2013) were also released to critical and commercial success. West further diversified his musical styles on The Life of Pablo (2016) and Ye (2018), and explored Christian and gospel music on Jesus Is King (2019). After a series of delays, his highly anticipated tenth album Donda (2021) was released to continued commercial success, but to mixed critical reception. He released its sequel, Donda 2 (2022), a few months later, exclusively through his tie-in audio speaker service. West's discography also includes the full-length collaborative albums Watch the Throne (2011) with Jay-Z and Kids See Ghosts (2018) with Kid Cudi.

West's outspoken views and life outside of music have received significant media coverage. He has been a frequent source of controversy for his conduct on social media, award shows, and public settings; as well as his comments on the music and fashion industries, U.S. politics, race, and slavery. His Christian faith, estranged marriage to Kim Kardashian, and mental health have also been sources of further media attention.[7][8] As a fashion designer, he has collaborated with Nike, Louis Vuitton, The Gap, and A.P.C. on clothing and footwear, and leads the Yeezy collaboration with Adidas. He is also the founder and head of the creative content company Donda. In 2020, West launched an unsuccessful independent presidential campaign that primarily advocated for a consistent life ethic.[9][10]

One of the world's best-selling music artists, with over 160 million records sold, West has won 24 Grammy Awards, the joint tenth-most of all time, and the joint-most Grammy awards of any rapper along with Jay-Z.[11] He is frequently lauded as one of hip hop's greatest artists, with his music among the most acclaimed.[12][13] Among his other awards are the Billboard Artist Achievement Award, a joint-record three Brit Awards for Best International Male Solo Artist and the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.[14] Six of West's albums were included on Rolling Stone's 2020 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list with the same publication naming him one of the 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.[15] He holds the joint record (with Bob Dylan) for most albums (4) topping the annual Pazz & Jop critic poll, and has the 5th most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 (133 entries). Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2005 and 2015.[16][17] Forbes estimates his net worth at $2 billion as of 2022, making him the wealthiest musician in the world.[18][19][20]

My daughter was there for 3 years 2014-2017. The teachers couldn’t figure her out and the reason she wasn’t interested in classes. They made us spend thousands of dhs with all sorts of psychological testing and therapy sessions to only find out she was a normal kid who just wanted to play( she was 4). Once, when I went to pick her up, she was the only one left and I overheard a discussion between her class teacher and a colleague of her. They were laughing at her for always being the last one to finish. It was deeply hurtful to hear it. I don’t recommend this school.

I have been in the worst school before I joined this school. And when I joined this school, I felt like it was heaven. The bathrooms were clean, the teachers care for students, they make them feel wanted, and they are very welcoming. This school also has amazing projects and presentations. These presentations and projects encourage students to work in teams. And another thing I liked about AISA, is that they teach you things that help you in life, for example, they teach you how to write essays in a professional way, and they teach you how to cite your sources and many more. I don't understand why people are writing bad reviews about this school, as it is the best school i've ever seen.

Another thing this school offers is free dress days and events, for example, we have spirit weeks that allow a student to dress freely, and we also have pride tickets, these pride tickets are given if a student is working hard in class or does good, and the students have to put their ticket in a box, and by the end of the month the school picks a winner, and the winner gets a prize and the school sends an email to his parents telling them how good he/she was. This encourages students to do well.

The school also makes events, these events are very fun and entertaining, for example we have events such as halloween night where we do fun activities and we have fun and play.

My 2 daughter attend this school. They because suicidal and we had to hire a therapist. Smoking in the bathrooms, frequent fights, terrible hygiene and disrespectful teachers with breaths that smell like “dog food”. I do not recommend this school to any parents or their children.

This is my honest opinion on different subjects:
1. Teaching staff are very kind which is amazing. As a parent you feel safe for your kid when you face a very kind staff.
2. During COVID time, I would have preferred that they do something to fully open the school. They could use gym library and other areas as suggested by ADEK. They could also check with parents who preferred only virtual, leaving numbers which can be fitted with ADEK guidelines.
3. Parents consultation is not a consultation and Instead school present what they have already decided. They chose to implement complicated system during current year where they had no logic of not using their large play ground for PE even during good weather. With a better planning they could make Elementary student full time. I know Even old school with limited space also having full time classes and allowing packed food with kids. So basically they just present what they want to do without any consultation. From total number of hours point of view, only 30-35% of the time kids were in the school during current year 2020-21. I hope school does some serious planning to open fully for next academic year.
4. I do see lot of comments about smoking in toilets. But I can’t comment as I don’t know about it. If this problem is there then it is possible to solve it by installed high efficiency smoke detectors. Definitely some google comments are scary if they are true.
5. Last but not the least - fee during COVID time. Almost every business has been hit by COVID. Salaries in every sector has been reduced. We feel bad that as a parent we have to struggle for online classes of one, two or three kids and on professional front also we had to face loss of income or salary cuts. However, there is no change in school fee and comforts were given to accommodate quarentine of staff by having only virtual classes whenever there was a school break. It is unfair when parents have to struggle with all issues (including virtual education) and schools are given comfort of having normal business.
