Broke up our return flight from Europe to Asia with a two-night stay in this hotel. It's super convenient as it's less than 20 minutes from the airport. There's a tourist bus that stops at the hotel so you can see some sights if you choose. They also have packages with the theme parks if that is your thing. We appreciated the unique view over the mangroves, had an exceptional spa treatment (really fabulous), and the staff were so kind and helpful. We stayed in a suite with two balconies and two bathrooms - it was heaven after spending 5 weeks of traveling in Europe.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, well looked after by housekeeping. Location good for a riverside walk and a couple of good restaurants nearby. All main attractions accessible within 20 mins or so by taxi

I booked the private pool room but turned out it was a tiny Jacuzzi, would not refer to it as a pool. Also, it wasn’t private, people on boats and also walking on the shore could very easily see the pool area, not to mention write on top of the “private” pool, there was a cctv camera. There were bee nests on the sliding doors and dead bugs in the jacuzzi.

Other than that, spacious room and very nice staff. Also, location is good.

The room was large and beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. There were also different activities within the hotel. The only issue was that I checked in at around 3:00 PM, and the only executive room left was in the hallway on the sixth floor. Above my room was a bar, and from about 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, there was constant noise, which made it hard for me to sleep until the middle of the night. When checking in, please avoid this room. The front desk attendant was very nice. He said he would help me upgrade my room next time. I will definitely come back.

In short a great hotel and highly suggest for a stay. We start with the location , it’s the best as it’s in the mangroves and not in the super busy area. The room allocated for us was super spacious with a great view. Staff at checkin super friendly and know their work best. Room were clean and well maintained. Restaurant buffet was great and selections were extraordinary . The GHA members treatment the best and they never turned us down for any request . The only thing I would slightly like to be changed is the selection of food in the lounge and slightly bigger area . Would certainly be back for another stay cation

It is one of my favourite hotels!
What a fascinating mangroves view you wake up to - exceptionally breathtaking.
The breakfast food variety is amazing. The team are the friendliest and the attention to details in the service is excellent.
Thank you team for always making it an unforgettable stay.

I visited the hotel a few years ago, and recently was a big disappointment in many aspects, starting the room was not clean, the bed smelled of cigarettes, the towels were dirty and very old, the furniture was old and not maintained, the washroom washbasin tap is almost damage, and this is just the room.
During the check, I was told by Mr Imad that no rooms were available and the room he provided was the only option, and it was upgraded, but the carpet was filthy. After I returned to reception to ask for help, it turned out that what he said was false, and many other options were there—no significant difference but at least more clean.
The room service gentleman was nice to change the bed cover, but the cigarette smell was actually from the mattress (no smoking room).
At almost midnight, the fire alarm started with the instruction to stay in the room; after a few minutes, we were instructed to leave; they confirmed that fire existed on the floor, so we went using the stairs with families and kids. Before we reached down, we met a smiling gentleman who said nothing was there and it was a false alarm, so why you didn’t announce that as well? Of course no answer from reception for almost 45 minutes. It was a total mess.
Hope to reconsider; Anantara is a nice chain, and such things are a huge surprise.

it was amazing. specially the restaurant, it was amazing. and maher (the manager) and islam (the chef) were amazing. they made the experience so much better. they are such great workers and provide so much help. they made this experience more amazing than it was. 100% recommended.
