Not the bluest beach but definitely sandy, and pretty clear-ish water. Went on a Friday to the Lifeboat road Formy beach and it was not at all crowded. Parking was about 5-8 mins walk away. Also had nice and cosy hideaways in the sand dunes

This beach is very clean and good to walk when low tide ,sands on the beach makes our walk slow,good place for children to enjoy and play with family,can try paragliding, parking area cost 7.50 pound for whole day.Toilet is near in the first parking area.

Absolutely perfect spot to relax and enjoy beautiful weather. We know that visitors are leaving rubbish everywhere but here National Trust is taking care of it every day. That is why this spot is so beautiful.

Great area, vast amount of walking areas, only downside is the amount to pay for parking, and the lack of bins so littering is heavy which is an awful shame. Please put more bins out because it’s such a vastly popular area. Great place for family’s and dogs walks. Just avoid the main walks as it can be full young teens being loud at peak times

Dog friendly.
Can get busy on sunny weekends.
£7.50 for car parking, free if National Trust Member (take your card).

Such a lovely beach. Went on a weekday after going on a weekend and it was super nice. Much quieter during the weekdays and plenty of space to park closer to the beach. But if the car parks are full there is space to park on the roads outside but you've got to be up for the walk!

Beach was very clean too. Paying for parking was a little awkward as you can only pay with coins or by the app and reception is not great there but it was manageable.
There are toilets on site but they do close at 4:30 so beware as we miss the cut off my 4 minutes!!

All in all, a lovely day out and a well looked after beach.

Best place for long walks, good for picnics. Best views. I visited it in the month of December so The Asparagus farm and local shops were closed would love to go in summers to enjoy local food. Issue was there were no Toilets nearby and parking machine were not fully functional.

Due to sand dunes a little dificult to reach, would not recomended taking a pushchair and troley. Nice open space for walking alonenor with dog. There is planty of woodland walking and exploring away from the beach
