I called many times seeking information. No one answered the phone. So I had to drive all the way to find out I didn't need to..
I'm sharing the information here hope it'll save someone time..

According to the staff there the laws has changed.. if you need to travel to GCC by car.
You do not need trip ticket.
(Your car must be under your name. And there is no bank loan) if you have loan then you will need the trip ticket.

Very poor service, still filling lengthy forms, and asking for cash payment only. And the nearest ATM is too far from the office. Not matching with the Smart service in UAE.

3 months they are unable to process international driving license. Forget about calling no one answers.

To travel, Trip Ticket / CPD / Carnet De Passages not mandatory, GCC Countries . not mention in document as well. Unprofessional staff. never answer for mail or phone call

Thanks to Mr Muhammad for helping us with the TRIP TICKET.
The process was simple and fast… see details below

We took a trip ticket for saudi ( two people)

Deposit : aed500/-
Documentation : aed420/-
RTA Approval : aed 100/-

Trip ticket is valid for 1 year. You can refund your deposit only after you return the trip ticket.

you can also do it thru your MOI app. The process is simple and the trip ticket will be delivered to you within two to three days.

We had to go in physically because of our situation.
After driving all the way from RAK to Ghuwaifat border and were not allowed to cross the border because we did not have the trip ticket.

So we had to drive back to Abudhabi, stay the night there and early morning we went to ATC to get a trip ticket .

Pls note if you are in Abudhabi, PCR is still a must in most places so keep your self updated.

One of the worst bus stops, buses always comes late, especially at 8:25 in the morning usually is canceled.
