This is our go-to store when we stay around Truro area. Petrol station, plenty of covered parking on ground level and on the upper level. Always seems to be clean and well stocked when we visit. Nice fresh and bakery goods. Has a good selection of homewares and clothing/shoes. Staff are friendly. And bonus café restaurant for hot and cold food/drinks on the upper level easily accessible via the travelator.

Classic Sainsbury's, very large store with huge range of items. Car park is large and on two levels. Escalator to the food hall from top car park. Staff helpful, both in the aisles and at the checkout. Restaurant on site, clean and no complaints about the food. Petrol station next door which is often busy.

Staff are always helpful and friendly, especially the nice girl who works on the customer service desk. The store has most of the stuff I need. The carpark can be a total nightmare and getting back out into regular traffic on the roundabout is hard work

I have shopped at Sainsburys Truro for many years. Indeed my late wife worked there. I have always found it to be a happy, relaxed and good place to shop. However, the latest move to reduce the number of staffed checkouts is one step too far. It is a retrograde step. We are not in a city up country. I value the human interaction as an invaluable part of shopping. I don't want to interact with machines. I do enough of that anyway. No doubt, this means that as staff leave/retire they will not be replaced. This is a sneaky and immoral way of reducing staff costs. Humans are valuable!! Please reinstate the recently removed staffed checkouts as a matter of urgency and admit is was a mistake. You will lose customers if this is not addressed.

Normally I am a very loyal customer at Truro but went in this Bank Holiday morning to find a very stroppy cashier (or just a resting stroppy face) who appeared unable to communicate with the customers at a basic level without overt rudeness. Probably a bad day for her- not a good advert for the store though! Shame

Absolutely love the food quality from this store. Its not big enough store to have much in the way of homeware or clothing which is the only downside as selection is small
