Not a usual path to walk on! Really great and unconventional walk.

Amazing location to walk to, with some fantastic history dating back from the 1800s to millions of years ago. The history of the railway and this tunnel is fascinating. The tunnel is slightly dim at some points due to the lights being out (I think they’ll fix this) but it was still very safe to walk along. There also are a lot of cyclists but this is okay as long as you make sure what’s behind you!

Nice walking tunnel is quite dark inside but very wide there is some lighting. Bikes do ride fast in the tunnel so stick to the left side if possible. I can understand why bikers use the tunnel as it can be a long walk down the trail.
