Couldn’t make up how subhuman you’re treated, staff member was horrendously unhelpful, unprofessional and abrupt. Attending to obtain information for an incapacitated family member and will take steps to have them moved from the surgery based on this experience, avoid at all costs.

Sad to say let down badly in reltion to my husbands failing health and support he needed. However, today spoke with a very helpfull and supportive receptionist,could kick myself for not getting her name. She will know if she reads this. She listned and arranged for an emergency appt for him. This is one receptionist that does not require people skills training.

The ladies at the front desk are useless. I needed medicine. The doctor prescribed a medicine that was not available in the pharmacy. I went back to the clinic asking for a prescription for an alternative medicine. It took the 5 days to get the prescription and they sent me to a pharmacy which also did not have this drug. The pharmacy just ordered this medicine and on the sixth day I got the medicine. Being sick, waiting a week for a medicine is not acceptable.

Doctors is terrible now. Been with them since was born.
Phone every morning for the last 2 weeks now 3rd to be told when eventually get threw no appointments left . Even calling before 8 for it to go threw saying number 50 in que .

Last year we moved from our long standing surgery in Hamilton and we were unsure what to expect. Our only regret is that we did not move to this surgery years ago. All communication with reception staff, whether in person or by telephone was been both helpful and professional. Any query we have is dealt with promptly and with understanding. The entire team, nursing staff, receptionist staff and doctors are all first class. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for all they are doing during these extremely difficult times.

The doctors say they will phone you back to discuss medication and they don't bother. The reception staff have always been unhelpful when it comes to trying to solve a problem. They don't care about mental health whatsoever. Didn't give prescription to pharmacy to collect and only found out when my regular pharmacy didn't have it. Different rules for different patients. My husband got all the help he needed but they refused to help me. Oh and I've had test results interpreted wrong so what I initially thought wasn't an issue actually was.

I've been supported by Doctor Tobin, who is very understanding and empathetic - a rarity in my experience in medical circles. As part of Burnbank Medical Centre, this exceptional Doctor is sadly let down by a poor administrative function. Appointments are only available if you phone in (and if you can get through!).

I'd estimate, the last 10-15 times i've tried to contact for an appointment, I've got an engaged tone about 80% of the time - it's a very frustrating service to be able to access. I've raised with reception and been told "it's quite busy first thing in the morning" - it's like they feel it's an accpetable level of service for patients to struggle to get in touch.

For the record, it's 1.51pm just now and my three attempts so far this afternoon to get through have all met with an 'engaged' tone. Wish me luck on my 4th and 5th attempts!!

It is utterly impossible to get through to the surgery by phone, for example this morning the line has been busy since 8am. It is 8.39 and I have hit redial 103 times. I've given up on having any help with numerous health conditions. I haven't had a face to face appointment in a long time. I know that if I eventually get through today, I'll be told to phone back tomorrow. Shocking 'service'.
