Took my 3 very young children (2 of which are autistic) the volunteers in the shop were excellent with my children even when they were being difficult. The volunteers make this place. Huge respect to them for taking time out of their day.

A comprehensive and wife ranging interesting exhibition of the area and its history up to date.
Don't forget to enjoy a drink and snack in the museum café

Great little place to visit. Catch up on some local history, enjoy tea and cake in the cafe and bring back a gift. Love little Dino! Nice garden to sit in as well

The Museum is a wonderful place for children and adults to explore. Their exhibitions are fun and interesting and they are always looking for ways to involve the local community. I volunteer within the Museum as part of their Youth Panel and also on a fortnightly basis and immensely enjoy spending time there, whether inside the house itself or outside in the gardens. A lovely day out for people of all ages.
