The interior is beautiful. Very level has its own vibe and I like things are labeled so you know what you ate looking at. If you going to the be Roy you get a good angle from higher up.

Glasgow Cathedral has such a different feel to any other Cathedral I've visited.
It's not 'just' old, stoney and traditional, it's filled with new stained glass windows celebrating people and families (not just religious stories or saints), it has a back white-painted room with a beautiful ceiling with stone carvings, it has a crypt that's ready for you to explore (and was an Outlander filming location). But, if you visit Cathedrals for their traditional look and religious features, you also won't be disappointed. Free entry but they accept donations.

Loved the views here and the walk around the cathedral! They were closed that day to outside visitors, so I wish they would have posted that on the website. It’s free to get in, but many people, including myself, made plans to tour it that day and there was just a sign outside saying no one could go in.

A hidden gem since there is so much emphasis on Edinburgh. Glasgow's Cathedral is rich in history and beauty, and the free guides shepherding our visit is memorable. He loved the Cathedral and it was evident. You can spend as long as you want but you need to allow a good hour for the guide. Well worth a day trip on the train over from Edinburgh.

It's a must see. I've been in Glasgow for years. And never have I been in the Cathedral. Amazing. I need to go back. We didn't have enough time to see it all properly but what we did see was fantastic. Huge. Definitely a must see for locals and tourists alike.

The oldest cathedral in mainland Scotland and the oldest building in Glasgow. Glasgow Cathedral is one of the two medieval cathedrals in Scotland to have survived the Reformation virtually intact. Great architecture and a must visit if you visit Glasgow.

Nobody checks your tickets which are free anyway. I think it is for predicting crowd size more than anything.
Beautiful medieval cathedral and crypt adjacent to the Glasgow Necropolis which is also free!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, the church has consecrated since 1197 and has found since the 12th century. The church is very, very huge, you feel its greatness and the greatness of its history since approaching it, and you feel that you are very small in comparison with its magnitude. Entrance for tourists is free, and no prior reservation is required.
Highly recommended.
