Honestly I am saying don't buy biryani from here they serving only masala in the biryani and check the piece of chicken, these guys are cheating people by the name of Hyderabadi biryani, don't waste your money

I have ordered chicken tandoori biryani from biryani palace, at the time placing order guy on the other side told me it will be delivered in 20 mins as I live within 1.5 km from restaurant, but it was delivered after 1 hour, when I opened the box it was just biryani rice and chicken pieces without any masalah, so I called the restaurant the same guy on the side told me tandoori biryani doesn't come with masalah only dum biryani has the masalah so I countered him that last time when I ordered it was a proper biryani with masalah and tandoori chicken then he admitted that restaurant uses masalah from chicken dum biryani for chicken tandoori biryani but it has finished therefore they sent it without masalah and he told me to mention masalah next time when I order from the restaurant.

@Biryani palace : writing review for you just because you tried to change the definition of tandoori biryani and when I countered you instead of apologizing you have justified your action.

Even 5 dhirams is not worth any biryani. Very rude and poor administration. If you ask anything they will reply like "we are beggar". 2 years before it was good. My suggestion is don't go and don't waste your valuable money. Quality and Quantity is very very worst.

Only the biryani items are good to eat and in quantity.
DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER ITEMS OTHER THAN BIRYANI. Normal items are a waste of money because they serve very little quantity and only bones for mutton meat. Yet again VERY GOOD biryani in shabia 10.

The taste is very authentic one of the best biryanis I’ve tried i ordered a chicken biryani and chicken Manchuria it was the first time i try chicken Manchuria and in all honesty i fell in love with the dish, wish they had a branch in dubai i would definitely order again.

Biryani Palace Restaurant.

Ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani.
Served with gravy, yogurt and salad.
Not bad for 19dhs.
Large enough portions for 2 people.
Biryani was topped with spicy chicken curry and 1 hard boiled egg.
Pocket friendly price and value for money.
It’s not spicy but there were plenty of chicken pieces. I suggest they add more spices, this could really make the biryani taste better.
Overall good food.
Friendly staff.
Parking space is available.

Big selection of food from around the world. Mainly Asian (all over Asia) but Eastern European too. The shelves are crammed together and packed full of choice. There is a Halal butcher and they have fresh samosas and baklava. Otherwise it's tins, jars of sauces and packs of rice and so on. That just leaves the fresh veg, both British and from around the world.

Bought a packet of onion powder, black peppercorns and curry leaves. £12.40 felt very expensive. Gulabjammon £1 each! Will be going to Zam Zam in future.

Excellent selection of South Asian/Middle Eastern produce. One of the few (only?) places in York that sells fresh curry leaves, fenugreek leaves, fresh green almonds, and sour green mangoes, to name a few.
