Went in for a drink with my friend & dog after a walk from Brora. We used the public bar & were made very welcome by the locals. They had just lost a friend & were toasting him with Whisky & they bought us Whisky as well so we were included. Thanks to you all including Dave from Maine USA.

We had a couple of drinks there for the first time on Tuesday, nice place good friendly staff and can recommend the beers 80 shillings and ice breaker pale ale

Very pleasant and helpful members of staff, took and served us, a good place for pub grub, not overl expensive at £64 for 3 2 course meals and 6 drinks,who had a lot of local knowledge

For a large group meal, John and the staff went above and beyond. Great with the kids, food was gorgeous, staff could not have been more helpful. Lovely restaurant quality food at a very fair price. Highly recommended ????

Just had a fantastic lunch in here. Large portions ( suited me ) food was well presented and perfectly cooked will definitely return when passing on our travels again

Loved this place. Great home cooking. Excellent service. Very good Covid19 procedures. Best for lunch as they close early for dinner maybe 630pm. Loved Roast dinner, Southern Fried Chicken, Cheese Burger. Katsu chicken not so great spoiled but the gravy like sauce. Enjoyed rhubarb crumble and lemon posset was amazing.

Absolutly beautiful food, lovely relaxed atmosphere and brilliant staff. Food is very reasonably priced too. Perfect place to stop and have a meal or to spend the night and have a few drinks too.

Only ate here after round of golf so no comment on rooms. Food and service wete great.
