Charlotte Tilbury devotees know that the products and the quality speak for themselves - this location is no exception. The quality of the staff, however, make this store rate above and beyond! I walked in fresh faced looking for a simple new color match, but Gem took her time to give me a whole new face with zero expectation to buy new products. She was so knowledgeable and skilled and taught me several new everyday techniques. Highly recommend visiting this location ????

You need to book the tickets early as they can sell out fast. I bought my ticket from the city bus tours which guarantees you access to the castle. Great place to visit to know more about the history in Edinburgh. The audio guide was an additional 3.50£. It is good to have it as you will be able to hear the stories and history for different parts of the castle. The view was great as you can overlook the city towards the new town.

I loved every second of this place, due to our flight we booked the last ticket of the day and we didn't get to see everything we wanted to see so I suggest booking an earlier ticket of the day, I know at 1 o'clock they fire guns which would be cool to see. Also there was a lot of people being turned away because they sell out of tickets so be sure to book them in advance. The Scotland crown jewels were impressive and the war memorials were moving.

Went to watch The Who what a fantastic venue. From our seats we had a perfect view even if people got up and danced. The sound was amazing. Stairs got very slippy due to the rain but if you took the hand rails it was fine. 5 star venue.

Great castle.. very busy with tour groups. Definitely recommend booking anyways. Plenty of informatio. Spent over 1.5 hours here, well worth it. Queue for the Crown Jewels as well so be prepared if you want to see them. Well worth the visit!

I can't say personally that I was overwhelmed by this place. Staff were super helpful and there's definitely a lot of interesting things to see but like with any tourist attraction it is very busy. Definitely book tickets in advance as they sell out super quickly. I wouldn't recommend this as somewhere for little ones as there's a lot of walking up hill and uneven surface and not a lot for them to do. Fantastic views over Edinburgh, and I'm sure an enjoyable day out for others.

Love Edinburgh and you get amazing views from the castle. Be warned that it's a steep hill to the gates but taxi are allowed to drop off.
Your journey round the castle is well signposted and there are great photos to be had. Unfortunately I'm not very good at taking them.

Stunning castle with beautiful architecture and rich history. The views of the city are amazing and each room is filled with interesting sights. The most interesting was the prison, in my opinion! The castle is usually sold out, so buy tickets in advance.
