Nice little bar ! No frills old style pub, been there for years, staff good ! Prices are good ! Town centre location.. All good..

Several Ex Soldiers friends had just been to a local funeral for a fellow veteran and had popped into this pub for a beer after the funeral and were turned away because of their dress. They were wearing suits and ties and wearing medals. Disgraceful!!

It was my first time in the westburn for about ten years and, I must say I got a pleasant surprise, it was a friendly experience compared to years ago when you had arguments and skirmishes, and that's just to get to the bar, ???? yes well done to the the proprietors who run it now, I'll call in soon for another refreshment.........I love a happy atmosphere, as the song goes.????????????????????.

Shame on all the staff for refusing to let ex soldiers celebrate the life of a friend who had passed away, all because they were wearing black suits, ties and medals. Avoid this place like the plague..
