We parked at high lea park on side street and it's good for kids with playing area. My 11 year old child liked it. Restrooms were not clean. Water to wash hands was ice cold. After park we crossed the road and went down towards the other area and it was a good walk with bridge etc.

Very nice park with plenty of activities for young, younger and older kids! The open gym is also really nice! Fantastic place for the r spending some time outdoor !

This park is a pleasant country escape within striking distance of a train station on the Manchester line. One can escape for a few hours here and feel immersed in rural England. The park also has great options for entertaining children.

Although my kids are now just past the age of parks. For the previous thirteen years this park has been a staple point in their upbringing. I came when there were only a few swings and a climbing frame and then the equipment started to appear over the course of a few years. My kids used to get excited about what would be new on the park and quickly go running on to try the new rides. There are plenty of frames, swings, climbing equipment and even a fitness section to keep children and the occasional adult ( that still has a sense of fun) entertained. ????

A great place to take the kids. On warmer days, an ice cream van turns up. There's also different events going on in the park throughout the year. The bubble party is a favourite with the locals. The park is built on a hill so expect to be walking up and down a hill while visiting here.

Great little park hidden in the middle of new mills, loads of different activities for the kids, and some exercise machines.
Clean and tidy.

Brilliant park. We visit New Mills regularly and we adore this park. It's got everything you could ever need and more.

Lovely park in New Mills. It has a nice little memorial garden which is very pretty and well maintained, there's an adult gym with lots of apparatus and not forgetting the numerous climbing frames and slides. The park has developed a lot in terms of facilities since I was a child and there's a large bit of greenery at the back with two football nets which is usually used for community festivals just like the bubbleologist session in my picture
