Tarmac paths which run around the park, excellent space to have a picnic.
Lovely big areas for children or dogs to run about, there's also the river if you like your pets to have a drink or get wet.

Unfortunately Google maps doesn't recognise the canal locks from lock 11 ( Beefeater/Premier Inn up to Lock 16( Canal Inn, Union Inn, Port Downie..

Wide open expanse of grass, running track and football field with walkways to the east and north. The river Carron flows at one side, ideal for a doggie runabout .
