For singles, use Gates 4-6 (there is a public parking lot right across Gates 4-6).
To the SW is the Families Beach (Gate 3).
To the NE is the largest of the Abu Dhabi Beaches, with no fee (I believe) and no amenities.
Sand is perfect outside the water (fine, clean (no dust content or littering) awa inside the water although here it contains some sediments (like most Abu Dhabi beaches).
The water is relatively clean and always calm as it is essentially a bay, protected by Lulu Island etc..
There are about 50 umbrellas only in the Singles Beach though so you need to arrive as early as possible on weekends to have chances.
There are also showers while if you want yo eat something, there are few stores nearby but your best chance is to walk towards the family beach where there are locations with a bunch of small food stores.
Entrance fee for singles is 10 AED, then an additional 25 AED for umbrella + sunbed.
Well done to AD Municipality for building such a beach and maintaining it with so low usage fees.
