Dandana is one of the oldest shops that sells musical instruments in Abu Dhabi. It's well stocked with Asian and western musical instruments. The size of shop is small and the rates are reasonable.

Bad service, they don't know how to fix instruments and they do their repairs in Sharjah except they take more money with worse service.
Their employees are not educated about musical instruments and have bad customer service.
It's better for the owner to turn his shop into a restaurant.

Highly recommend for oud and guitar enthusiasts. The owner is very accommodating and the staffs are very helpful. I have bought and modified my guitar here, and now it sounds worthy of a concert.

Fellow kabayans are very impatient. Be wary for they can talk back at you using tagalog words. They are very impatient when you are buying, i know some tagalog words such as tagal/slow. I have hear them saying "Ang tagal bumili nito inis", I am not fluent in tagalog but that is what I heard. translation: (The Arab is slow at buying, annoying) BE VARY WARY OF WHOM YOU ARE BUYING FOR. KNOW IF THE PEOPLE THERE ARE WORTH BUYING TO.
