Ordered a curry for 10 people. The food arrived on time and piping hot. All the curries were very good , as were the rice and naan bread. Have had several curries from The Chip Inn and have never been disappointed- would definitely recommend.

i think charging 3 pounds to come no more than a mile is alittle much. one night my order didnt come at all then I had to wait to be refunded. another time my sausage was undercooked. i do order alot and overall the food has been ok

This has to be the worst chip I’ve ever had. Food tasted terrible and greasy. The oil was old oil which you could taste in the food. Half pizza supper wasn’t done right and was burnt even my dog wouldn’t eat it!

Pizza was burnt, cold . Ordered a chicken,ham and mushroom found none of the three. Was quoted £18.40. When delivered cost £23.00. Would not recommend

Would not recommend this chippy, food was extremely greasy and my special fish was shockingly bad, couldn't eat it, as the batter was terrible, will not be buying again from here....

The Chip Inn is a chippy. But it's also an Indian, a kebab shop and a pizzeria. Normally if a place has such a range then it wouldn't be good at any of them but I'm pleased to say that I've had each from here and The Chip Inn is excellent on all of them.
The place is busy so you're pretty much guaranteed that whatever you order is fresh.
In terms of the chippy, there is very little food kept in the hot cabinet so you'll probably have to wait while your order is cooked but that means fresh, crispy batter. You're not in Kansas anymore, so they will ask if you want 'salt & vinegar' (I got the fright of my life when I heard this) so one negative is the lack of proper chippy sauce. Fish suppers are class though.
For the kebab shop, I've tried a mixed kebab and a donner. Both good. Plenty meat, plenty salad, tasty sauce. Point for improvement- they're making naan breads and pizzas so they could easily do their own pitta style bread for the kebabs. The pre made ones just disintegrate into mush and shop made bread turns a good kebab into a great kebab.
Pizzas - again very good and a decent range. Nice sauce, thinnish base decent cheese and toppings. They are not as good as the 'artisan' pizza place over the road, but it's not direct competition. The Chip Inn is cheaper and bigger with a much wider range of toppings. Would recommend the Turkish pizza- donner meat, onions, bit of chilli. Fantastic.
Indian- this is what the Chip Inn does best. Really high quality curries, not too greasy like many Indians. Spices are not overdone but there's plenty heat if you want it. Good portions too. Would recommend the lamb saag here.
All in all, good food, reasonably priced service is pretty fast. Had delivery once which took over an hour but we were informed when the order was placed. Usually pick up- 15 to 20 minutes even on busy nights. They are well staffed and efficient.
Really pleased that I've got such a good take away place nearby.

Absolutely ill after eating here it was disgusting were is stirling council food and hygiene department they need to close it down

Worst chippy I've ever had ordered chips £3.20 for a small portion they were freezing went back and complained hot another portion these were hot and uncooked couldn't be bothered going back they ended up on the bin would avoid this place terrible!!!!!
