I haven’t eaten any Ethiopian dish for years, and after eating here in Gebeta, it reminded me of how I loved my first Ethiopian food experience! The food I ordered was filled to the brim, with literally all the flavors you can think of. The manager/owner even gave me free water and extra sauces! So kudos to him!

Such an amazing place, the art, the colors, the people and of course most importantly the delicious Ethiopian food✨????????????. I've tried this type of food before but not as good as this one. Perfect mix between spicy and something more fresh that might have been lime or lemongrass but I'm not sure. I had the beefy dish that's to the right on the menu (obviously forgot the name). Of course served on the traditional "bread" of which you take slices of to grab your saucy meat and onions. So beware to use plenty of napkins l????. Do make sure you try this place when in Abu Dhabi, you will remember it for a long time.

I ordered Half & Half and it was delicious! I was just 1 person so the amount for me is quite big (I have eaten Ethiopian food before so I knew it, but I still ordered it because I like mix of meat and veggie!). Personally, I like three dishes the best (See the photo below circled in purple)! Others are good too but it really depends on the person’s taste. The waiter is very very very nice and friendly. The chef is kind as well. I’m from northern China and I like the tastes in general. I hope more Chinese could try Ethiopian food ;)

Personally I really like the food here. Everything has a beautiful mixture of flavors and goes perfectly with the soft injera.

Wish I had more time to enjoy the pot of coffee with the burning rosin… Food preparation takes quite a bit time but it’s worth it.

Recommended for whoever loves Ethiopian cuisine (and can handle at least mild spiciness and get used to the sour taste of the fermented flatbread ;)

This was the best ethiopian food I have ever eat! The staff was great too :) loved everything about it. I hope to come back again :))

Tasty food, authentic experience, and great staff.
A tasty piece of Ethiopia in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
Our family, including kids, enjoyed the food and the place. Definitely, Ethiopian cousine is becoming one of our favourite ones.
