However the food today completely took me by surprise. Not a pleasant one at that.
My experience today is limited to the kids meal.
I opted for a chicken burger & was asked if I wanted cheese with it.
Now, that’s a strange question to ask coz frankly, what’s a burger without cheese ?! I asked to be served with whatever the order came with.
Big mistake.
Little did I realize what my takeaway was going to look like.
Fast forward to unpacking the box at home & what do I see ?… a burger bun with a bland, pink looking pattie & tomato ketchup smeared on the top . That’s it.
The apple juice box didn’t even have the usual attached straw ( so the box was just tossed in without paying attention to detail?) & my little one kept digging into the box searching for a non existent toy ( probably discontinued).
Seriously guys, a kids burger without cheese or lettuce . Lacking a straw & toy! Why even call it a kids meal? … nothing about the meal sparks joy or invokes smiles .
I am no gourmet chef but I can tell you, no one should ask a child if they want cheese with their burger. ( unless the child specifically requests for a burger minus the cheese).
No one denies a child a toy with a kids meal ( even if it’s a cheap plastic one ). To a child that toy is their treasure for the next few minutes.
No one offers a child a juice box without a straw.
Start paying attention to detail.
Work on your food presentation .
Keep your little patrons happy.
