First, the staff, they’re really helpful to explain every dishes that we ordered from the menu.
For the atmosphere, maybe I’m not really used with eating in the dark, so it’s just a bit too dark for me.
The premium dim sum is amazing! Especially the one with truffle!
My favourite its the shrimp roll! They’re so good! The sauce is savory and sweet, perfect match with the crispy skin from shrimp roll!
The rice (i believe it was a mix brown, white and black rice) was lightly seasoned, eating the rice itself is already delicious for me. The wagyu beef came with crispy mushroom, the sauce is sweet and savory, perfect pair with the rice.
For the dessert, i like the spiky lemon cake! So tangy and sour yet sweetest is also there!
Overall it was an amazing experience!

The restaurant wasn’t very busy on the particular weekend that we were there so managed to walk in without a reservation whilst visiting the Palace. The decor and ambience was impressive, I loved the dark and moody interiors. The screens made every area feel private and intimate, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We ordered the amaretti sour and tropical club mocktails. They were delicious and so well balanced. For starters, we ordered the prawn fritters with truffle, which were crunchy and delicious. However, the main course is where the disappointment started. We had the sweet and sour chicken with pomegranate, which was tasteless and over cooked. The lamb two ways was also disappointing. One was undercooked and tasted like grass, and the other part was really over cooked, and again, very bland and tasteless.
Very disappointed with our experience, and probably won’t be returning. I expect better food for this price. We were expecting much better than this from a restaurant with a Michelin star!

Hakkasan has established a reputation for itself across the world through its worldwide location. Step into this place and you will quickly learn why.
Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is a fabulous Michelin-star Chinese restaurant located inside the enchanting Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The restaurant is renowned for its pan-asian dishes. I opted for the signature menu and each dish was better than the other.
Absolutely delicious meal served by a wonderful service team.
My personal favorites:
1. Crispy Duck Salad
2. Supreme Dim Sum
3. Grilled Chilean Seabass with Organic Honey
4. Jasmine Tea Smoked Wagyu Beef Ribs

Lovely ambience matched with a great service from an attentive and knowledgeable staff.
Waiter Soe was at hand to guide us through the menu and their signature dishes, and he did a great job
The food, prepared by Michelin star, Chef Lee, was delicious.
