They have recently renovated a lot of areas inside this park, like the kids' playground, basketball court, and dining areas. It tends to get crowded at night but still spacious enough. No dinning and grocery store options inside. Also needs more manpower like security and cleaners.

Really liked it at night .. it is quiet and peaceful .. lovely walks .. and a place for work out .. with set up places for grilling ..
Also there are free places for sports .. and kids areas
I would love to go back there for a walk a gain

Hili Archaeological Park

Hili Archaeological Park is one of the best-known archaeological sites in the United Arab Emirates. The park is part of the Hili Cultural Site and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Al Ain. It contains Bronze Age (3000-1300 BCE) and Iron Age (1300-300 BCE) villages, burial grounds, and agricultural infrastructure. In the period between 2500 and 2000 BCE, the settlement at Hili expanded. This period is called the ‘Umm an-Nar’ period after the island off the coast of Abu Dhabi where remains of this culture were first found.

Hilli Site 1
Next to the Grand Tomb is Hili Site 1, once a tower built from mud bricks that would have stood several metres high. When it was excavated in the 1960s by Danish archaeologists at the invitation of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, the tower was found to have a thick circular wall, within which were several rooms, served by a well in the centre. Only the foundations of this building remain today.

Hili 10 settlement
A similar structure, Hili 10, is located nearby and also has a central well. Its three-metre-wide circular wall suggests that it was once a stronghold, perhaps controlling trade routes across the region. It was first built during the Bronze age (3000-1300 BCE) and re occupied in Iron age.

Grand Tomb

Part pf UNESCO World Heritage listing, Hili Grand Tomb, dates about 2000 BCE (Bronze age). Built in a circular form with a diameter of up to 12 metres, and approximately 4 metres high, the tomb was used by people from Umm an-Nar culture to bury people from surrounding settlements. The tomb has two entrances decorated with beautifully engraved reliefs portraying human and oryx antelope figures.

Really interesting but jumped by guides as you get out of your car. Watching people take camels put of a small pickup was worth it.

Another large very green park in Al Ain that has various spots with historic archeological objects from UAE history.
An interesting and diverse place to visit among many other attractions in al ain

Lot of greenery.
Clean toilets at many locations.
Well maintained lawns.
Very good kids play area.
Wide roads.
Paid cycle rental.
Barbecue area.
