Stopped here for breakfast this morning. Restaurant was very busy taking orders. I ordered a takeaway of a Anda parata and Karak Tea. Parata was good. They put lots of green chili’s. Staff are friendly and polite. Limited paid parking space is available.

Made a online purchase through Currys, and I needed to collect my order. This Currys based at the Arena Shopping Park was the closest to me. As always, I would always read other reviews on Google Maps. It’s a good thing I did. In regards to this Currys there are mixed reviews, some say good things, other reviews say otherwise.

There is some truth to this, as I went inside the store to collect my order, there were few staff members at this place.

I went to the collection point, told the staff member that I came to collect my order, he said to me the that he was going to find someone to get my order. I waited about 4-6 minutes he came alone back saying that he couldn’t find anyone. Then he said let me take your order number (maybe he took advice from someone, when he was looking for someone to help me, well who knows?). From when he was first standing when I approached him he went to the room where my order was kept.(maybe he was new and maybe he didn’t know where online orders were kept in the store?)

This Curry’s in Coventry seems below par, in the future I will now collect any online order collections from the Airport Retail Park one.

Staff is doing everything they can to avoid helping clients. When they see you looking for them they are running for their lives. And similar situation happened to us twice already, so it's not a one-time thing.
Completely empty store, fully staffed - I counted at least 5 people on floor and all of them were clearly avoiding us by going upstairs or to the back room when we started looking for help.
Afterwards the same happened when we tried to checkout. 4 staff members chatting 2 meters from us (seeing us clearly) and it took a good 10 minutes for one of them to ask if we've being served. Absolute joke.

I went to this store today to buy a washing machine. Old one break down, I decided that I would quickly buy a new one, plug it in and forget... I spent almost an hour in this store, no one approached me, no one was interested, no salesman, no manager, no one upstairs with washing machines. I wonder what is the point of this store's existence? I give two stars because I could at least watch the equipment, now I find that everything is cheaper online. I guess I should even thank Currys ;)

Went to this large shop at Coventry Arena with my sister who has special needs to try and buy a new fridge for her flat. About 8 assistants and no smiles, no asking if we needed help, wouldn’t even serve us saying they were busy with other customers. We needed help choosing a fridge. Assistant told us he couldn’t help and we’d have to go upstairs. But that anyway there was no-one who knew about the fridges today. We’d already been upstairs using the lift which is very slow. No assistants there. That’s why we came downstairs seeing that there were many assistants there.
It seems they could not be bothered with us. So. We shan’t be bothered visiting here again. Disappointing to have taken the afternoon off to help our sister get a new fridge only to be treated in an off-hand manner.
Just take a look at how many 1 star reviews this shop has got! Lots and lots.
Currys. Sort this out. It’s obvious that the staff have issues here which may not be their fault.
I’ve made my decision based on my experience and it seems lots of other customers have too…

Took 5 days to be able to get a new phone, and 4 visits to the store!! It was ordered on Monday, I was told it would be delivered to the store on Tuesday and someone would ring me when it was there. Tuesday no one called me, so I rang the store 20+ times to check for myself but no one replied. I went back to store on Wednesday (after calling many times again, to the phone number on the receipt they gave me, but no reply again) and a guy told me they couldn't help me as it was nothing to do with Curry's, it was Carphone Warehouse I needed? (Despite my receipt letterhead showing Curry's, no sign of Carphone Warehouse?) He said that Carphone Warehouse hadn't sent any staff to cover for the guy who had phoned in sick. Apparently Curry's staff 'can't do the paperwork needed on the computer?)' I went in AGAIN on Thursday, there was someone there to help, but I didn't know the security for the phone (as its my grandsons) so he couldn't help me again. Went back on Friday and FINALLY got it replaced!! Absolutely ridiculous!!

I'm never disappointed. Simply order online for my tech, arrange delivery, or click and collect at my local store. Always straightforward and never disappointed with the service.

I bought a £35 portable heater. Then went to collect it. I was told that the particular brand isn’t available but I was already charged. I desperately need it as emergency so I said can you refund me then will buy the cheaper £12 brand. They never refunded me that £35. They let me call the call Center in India for so many times and still didn’t give me the refund. Went back to the store but they said the item was lost in transit so I can’t refund it. Awful customer service. Never again I will buy from this store. Or any Currys store.

Guv helped me make the right choices on purchasing many different appliances. He gave honest and helpful advice according to my requirements. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great professional guy. Fantastic service from him and would recommend him.
