the Friday brunch at Iris is incredible! Appetizers definitely steal the show but the main and dessert weren’t bad either. There’s still no dancing or loud music due to covid but the place was full. Highly recommend this for a pocket friendly and filling brunch :)

Though has a good reputation from the sister venue in dubai.... This one is cr*p! Entrance with bad attitude... And very badly dressed...worse kind of attitude. Then once you enter.. So poor managed...untrained staff... In the arabic night they are so bored... That they dont even move the lights... No lights effects...! Very poor venue. See i. The video... ????

The lady told us you have to come at ten max as it gonna be full and this photo is taken at 12am. I have been informed that they do accept fazaa but when the bill came, the manager rejected it. The ambiance is super boring but the food was tasty however quite expensive! Disappointed!

Tried to visit with a group on Thursday night and was told to pay for a table. I’ve been multiple times without a booking and never been asked this. Multiple groups of people then continued to arrive and were being let in with no need to pay. The only difference between the MULTIPLE groups of people being let in without any minimum spend and the group I was with was the colour of their skin. It was undeniable RACISM. Their whole attitude was vile and it’s not somewhere I’d ever want to spend my money again.

the behavior exhibited by one particular staff member was completely unacceptable . Instead of providing assistance and addressing our concerns, this individual responded with a belligerent attitude and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The situation escalated to the point where their behavior became threatening and violent, necessitating the intervention of the police. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous to both customers and staff.

I am deeply disturbed by these events, as they ruined what was meant to be an enjoyable evening and highlighted severe issues within your establishment. As a regular customer, I expected professionalism, courtesy, and respect from your staff. Unfortunately, these expectations were unmet, and the incident involving the police was an extreme and distressing outcome.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and expect a prompt response. I hope that, in the future, your best Place will be able to provide the level of service and professionalism that customers rightfully deserve.

It was supposedly a nice evening and this will be the 4th bar for a night of bar hopping with my good friends, unfortunately, we were not received very well.

The bouncer was really happy and ok to see us coming but this arab lady looks like a reception and the manager who was an arab also was quick to judge. No greetings, just looking like from bottom to top.

1st reason: Not allowed as one of my friends were wearing shorts. But 2 guys ahead of us wearing shorts were allowed.

Next reason: Its Monday, and they gave as a minimum amount to spend, we need to spend 300aed atleast. 1st time i have encountered a pub or bar that has a minimum spend. its not part of the rules stated in their socials or bar.

We are ok with the minimum spent amount, what we dont like is how they approached us looking and asking as if we cant afford. These are the two arab people the manager it seems and the lady reception,

I felt they used this a reason but seems and feels like racism.

Anyway, it was quiet.

Good bar to visit, we were staying at the nearby W so iris was seen from our room so we decided to give it a try, the lady on the phone was a bit weird but the places it good, food was amazing to me and my wife too, make sure to try the tacos , a real one ! the environment was comfy and relax

I really hate to leave bad reviews. But the service here was so incredibly bad last week that I had to. The staff were the rudest that I have even seen. And I mean that . They were on purpose, creating rude, finding a way to have an attitude about every single interaction. When we got there it was not busy and the place was empty. Asked for a table for 4 and the place that I wanted , she said no u can’t take that table , that’s for a group of people, but in the same time the next table was similar and a girl seating alone . This is not a way to approach people.
However I don’t think I’m going to come again.
As a staff you are the first impression of the place, and if this is the impression they want to give …well, mission accomplished. I won’t be back .
