Great location, beautiful scenery modern facilities although couple of small things you would normally find weren't present. Prices of food were rather surprising so definitely bring plenty of savings with. Overall a great place for a family fun weekend.

First time at this resort and we'll definitely go back. We were lucky to get a caravan allocated in the secondary park which is a nice little walk away and much quieter than the main park.

We found the restaurant to be a bit expensive but if you consider the next available restaurant is a half hour drive away then you don't really have much of a choice.

As I said, we will be back but will be sure to be more sensible with out lunch and dinner options

Loving it here. Smooth check in. Spotlessly clean modern caravan. Spectacular scenery. Such a shame it is 9 hours drive from home! Worth the long drive though

Beautiful place to visit if your looking for peace and tranquility. Booked a lodge very clean and spacious, staff friendly and helpful. Food quite expensive though for what it was.

Lovely campsite offering river side accommodation. Staff and facilities lovely. Lots of lovely local attractions (waterfalls, forest walks, lochs and rivers for water sports). Only draw back is the nearest supermarket is an hour away.

Nice setting, decent communal facilities but lodge was tired and in need of extensive upgrade. Door off its hinges and sharp metal threshold bar sticking up. Sockets never worked, fire never fully worked and sofa and cushions were stained with who knows what. Arrived to a foul cigarette/cooking smell. Our biggest issue was we had a foul drainage smell that was present for the whole of our stay. My wife and I complained and on the 2nd day we had a visit from maintenence who apparently fixed the problem. Hours later the smell was still there and every complaint thereafter was completely Ignored. I complained every day at least once. I called office several times, went in person to office several times but nothing was done. My wife and I couldn’t sleep in our room and ended up having to share with kids. No offer to move and never heard from any staff member again even though I continued complaining. The staff were not interested and even denied the fact I had visited office to complain. Terrible way to treat a paying customer and ruined our stay. No action taken at all to a legitimate customer complaint is not good practice. I demanded a full refund as Parkdean never fulfilled any of their obligations and was offered a £50 voucher for my next stay????????
The holiday cost me £1400 and we all had to endure a strong sewage smell for 6 nights and never even stayed the full duration. A £50 voucher just doesn’t cut it I’m afraid. Customer care during and after was terrible and it seems to be a case of who cares. I just wished that someone took some accountability for our problems but even now weeks later it’s a case of tough luck here’s a voucher to shut you up!

Friendly staff dog friendly the issue we had that I spent thirty minutes hoovering up previous guests dog hair but to be fair the caravan was clean. Until it was time to leave they have a policy that you strip the bed but leave the mattress protector on But as we did this there was no mattress protector We were shocked to see a badly stained mattress the staff at reception were very apologetic we told them had we noticed the state of the mattress we would not of stayed

Booked a lodge for a few days in February. Lodge itself was clean, spacious and well kitted out. Swimming pool and sauna were a bonus. Well stocked shop for essentials. Bar, restaurant and small amusement arcade all open. Surprised to find evening entertainment at this time of year but the staff were great and we all really enjoyed it.
The park is quite a few miles along a country road. Lovely and peaceful in a beautiful setting with lots of ducks and rabbits, and next to the water. I think you do really need a car though, and be prepared to drive if you want to visit other attractions in the area.
