We enjoyed our dinner at Y Cerrig Glas.

It’s a spacious pub. They serve food and drinks throughout the day. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The food is suitable for everyone. It’s an ideal place for family or friends to get together without breaking the pocket.

There are some outdoor sittings and a small playground, plus, plenty of car park spaces.

Overall, it’s Good value for money!

We have visited many times now and always enjoyed this lovely pub. This evening we had a mixed grill, rump steak and apple crumble and it was all really delicious. Service was quick and friendly, ale was lovely too. We will definitely be going back ????????

Staff were very friendly and polite. Order was taken quickly. My coffee arrived hot which was a better experience than last time. Food was hot and well cooked. Good choice of food and good prices. Dessert was delicious. I know it's been recently refurbished but it did feel a little dark and boring, lacked atmosphere and vibrancy for me. Overall a better experience than my last visit and I would visit again.

Y Cerri Glas (Blue Saffire): Disabled parking well set out at front. Very friendly pub with an upbeat atmosphere. Good selection of beers and reasonably priced menu catering for all tastes. Great to find such helpful staff who we t out their way to make us feel welcome. Lots of things going on. A children's party, friends meeting for a meal and a group of older people all meeting for an occasion. Comfortable furniture and tables not too close together . Bright airy venue, and one where you would feel safe. Recommend you try this venue, so near to Travelodge too!

We arrived for our booked table and we were seated straight away. The place was quite busy and we did see a few members of staff. We placed our order at the bar as their is no table service anymore. Our Starters arrived which were all very nice. shortly after we finished, table cleared and Mains arrived. we had more drinks while we had a look at the Desserts Menu . we waited after we all finished for someone to come and clear the table. A young girl arrived and half cleared the table next to us and left. We waited and waited and waited
By THE TIME 8PM Arrived it was time to leave. NO DESSERTS NO SERVICE as is usual. great start poor finish. most of the tables were empty by the time we left.
worth going if you have the 30% off voucher as its a pub with restaurant prices.

18 months ago I visited Y Cerrig Glas together with five other members of my family. The service then was poor to say the least and the standard of food was substandard.
I visited this time with different members of my family and I was met with warm friendly welcoming staff and the food was absolutely fantastic.
I request my steak to be prepared specifically to the way I liked it and it was mouth watering.
I will be visiting again well done to the staff who served me and the chef who presented me with our meals, an outstanding evening thank you all.

The staff where welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious and cooked perfectly to our liking.

The atmosphere was chilled and felt like there was no rush to vacate our table. All in all a very enjoyable evening to celebrate my son's birthday

Manager was professional and friendly. A big table come in and he dealt with everyone else well at the same time. He supervises staff members well. Staff members all friendly, 1 or 2 need to come our of their shell a bit and not be so shy. Everyone good at their job, food was also nice and hot, well cooked. Will be returning the place has definitely improved since a year a go or so. Well done y cerig glas I will return :-)
