Beautiful, peaceful and inspiring.
Great to see the renovations. This library needs more space for reading, studying. Staff are polite and helpful.

Upon stepping inside, I am greeted by a meticulously clean and organized environment that fosters a tranquil atmosphere conducive to learning. The library's thoughtful provision of complimentary coffee and water further adds to the overall experience, ensuring visitors' comfort during their stay.
This summer, Khalifa Park library has exceeded expectations by offering a diverse range of activities catered to children. These engaging programs have undoubtedly enhanced the library's appeal, earning it a well-deserved 5/5 rating. However, if I were to provide a suggestion, it would be to consider expanding the number of activities per day during the summer. Doing so would enable even more children to participate and benefit from the library's enriching offerings.
Khalifa Park library stands as a haven for book lovers, knowledge seekers, and families alike. Its wealth of resources, welcoming ambiance, and dedicated staff make it an exceptional place to explore, learn, and connect. With the addition of more activities, Khalifa Park library has the potential to further elevate its already impressive standing within the community.
Some reviewers expressed concern about the AC, and I would gladly inform them that the AC is being renovated as I write this review, so in a few days from now, that is not going to be an issue.

Park at the main gate. You do not need to pay the entrance if you are using the library.
The library itself is just OK. The shelves aren't labeled at all, Arabic and English books are mixed together. There seems to be some pattern to the arrangement with board books on one shelf Dr. Seuss books on another shelf, etc, but I couldn't figure out the pattern. The seating on the ground floor is for older kids and the seating on the first floor is better for young toddlers- but most of the toddler books seem to be downstairs (though there are some upstairs as well). The filing seems to be random, though I did find a shelf labelled (for a change) 'foreign books'. They have books in French, German and Arabic (but Arabic books are everywhere).
You can borrow only 3 books per card. I found it annoying that they didn't let me borrow some books (not sure if they were new or because they had puppets). This made my toddler very upset.
Tagging out your books has to be done at the counter. There is no self-tagging system, like there was in the Muroor library. What is especially annoying is that the tag stickers inside the books have been placed by someone very inconsiderate - tag stickers cover character faces, words and punchlines!!!! Urrgghhhh!!!!
I would have rated this library lower, but i have no other library to compare it with. It is alright for what it is. If your child likes books then this is a decent place to be. Also, it seemed like the Arabic collection was quite extensive.
UPDATE- The 3 book per card rule is for adult memberships. The child membership is free, can be done there itself if you take the EID and a photo of the child, and can let you borrow 5 books at a time for 2 weeks.
The staff at the library is mostly grouchy and not too helpful. For some reason, they have people studying on the first floor of th children's library and hence they can get a little fussy about silence (hard to do with a toddler).
Yet, it is an overall decent experience.

I visited the kids library and my son enjoyed the time too much.
There is a lot of stories, science books and magazines.
