An amazing experience. My son and I was fortunate enough to see the fin of a minke whale and a couple of seals, abit gutted I couldn't get a picture but still a memory my son is telling everyone about. Although you are told at the beginning sightings are not guaranteed they are constantly informed by local fishermen so they have a good idea of where to start looking

In a brief 2 hour thirty minute trip we saw Minke Whales, Seals, several hundred gannets in a feeding frenzy and the most amazing display by a pod of Dolphins at Whitby Piers.

Absolutely amazing experience. A wonderful day out spotting minke whales and porpoises. The boat felt very safe and everyone was extremely helpful and informative. Even on the way back in we spotted 2 further minke whales and the driver stopped for us to view them and was happy to return to port an hour late to give us this wonderful time. There are also a large pod of bottlenose dolphins travelling up and down the coast which were seen the day after, unfortunately we didn’t see them but they are there together with a good population of minke whales , seals and sea birds.

Great trip.....beautiful sunset and views of Whitby and the Abbey, actually saw the Minke whales and the commentary on deck was both informative & entertaining.Everyone on the boat seemed to enjoy themselves. I would certainly go again..... and take visitors from abroad for a trip.

I asked if they would put a message on their wall asking to be contacted direct to see if I could car-share long distance for a trip. They tried ignoring me for a while, then when i persisted they said 'no' as they 'didn't want to get involved with travel arrangements.' The rudest and most unhelpful operator I've come across and I've been out with many. They're happy to take your money through automated booking but are clearly unable to deal with personal contact. Disappointing!

so after asking on how much it was and when I said that was a bit steep they removed my comment!

I regret that I got no proof to show but I know they told me next year it's £45 but I remember saying before hand well that's a bit steep.. so if anyone sees my comment please don't ask them on how much it is as they would remove it like they did to me!

These guys really go out of their way to seek out whales lol very knowledgeable and you could tell they were disappointed struggling to see any , however all came good in the end with plenty of sightings of minke whales and loads of seals and seabirds (puffins and manx shear waters) highly recommended and not expensive considering we were out there for 4hours

Great experience saw dolphines and seals.
Drinks and snacks available onboard, cheaper then shops nearby too.

One staff member was abit arrogant and rude though.
