We were excited to try this new restaurant but were disappointed with the service. We came on Sunday at 10 am. We had to find our own seats, ask for the table to be cleaned. We had to also ask the waiter to take our order, and she was not pleasant. Thankfully we quickly got our food, they have plenty of options for everyone and we were satisfied with that. We had the omelette, waffles and poached eggs, all yummy! At the end, it was difficult getting someone to get our check and pay, one guy said yes and then never came back. Elysee thankfully helped us, he was pleasant and quick. Hopefully they can tighten up the operation in the future.

Lovely place for taking a break with a water view: outstanding outside seating area and modern design inside. Balanced menu with price / quality breakfast and dinner dishes, lunch offers. Welcoming and professional staff. Great pearl of the water edge community!

Love the ambience and it's spacious too we ordered their best seller smoked salmon waffle Sandwich ???? Tenderloin sandwich and grilled steak and ended with our ever favourite pistachio crepe. That was so divine ✨️ Even they have both indoor and outdoor seating too ????

Great to know that la brioche has opened its doors at Water’s Edge - Yas Island., Ground Floor, Opp. Carefour.
Very convenient place and beautiful view outdoors

La Brioche needs no introduction as its well-known for its simple and mouth-watering menu items which is a combination of simplicity and freshness.

They have ample outdoor space and are well-known for the Stylish, innovative and passionate dishes and serving style.

I have earlier also ordered & tasted their customized cakes and the price is worth the quality and taste

This time I happen to have Waffle mushroom sautéed with mushrooms, sauce, pumpkin seeds and rocket leaves the waffle was freshly baked and super soft.

Mixed berries smoothies highly recommended because it was not very sweet and I could feel natural taste of berries

Mocktail and iced tea Mojito filled with mango, passion fruit, lime and mint.

Dessert I had to give a try to the chocolate pastry irresistible

Eat, enjoy, relax n repeat ????

It's all good, bit hot outdoors in warmer climate. Smoking is allowed outdoors.

Nice and fresh place; quite cosy at evening. Nice decor and good music. Food was good; prices are just right. I had the grilled chicken plate which was pretty healthy, though a bit too much lettuce. We also had cappuccinos and they were really good! Good job barista. Staff are welcoming and they try their best, forgive them if they’re too busy, they try ???? Good view over the water canal

Ambiance & water view, Food Quality, Portions, and Staffs -- VERY GOOD! Shout out to Lyka staff. :-) All staffs are warm and fast.

A good brand, but the service is not ok.
Firstly they forgot about the order of coffee. Later all sauces they we asked to put on the side were inside the meals.
The plates are not being cleared at all after we finish. So unfortunately the waiters are not attentive here

Thought we would try here.
For breakfast wasn't disappointed. was good & so was coffee. I feel the tables are too small. For 2 people can't move.

We saw this place a few times when passing on the bus to LARGS & decided to call in on Monday 27th June 2022. You enter round the back of the building & it's a nice area to behold with a few outdoor wooden tables & seats. The all day full breakfast was lovely even though the top area of my link sausage was a bit overdone but didn't spoil the taste & the tattie scone wasn't all soggy with grease. My chicken soup wasn't at all watery but could have been a bit warmer, but I gess with creme in it, it shouldn't be too hot ???? anyway.
They do good quality tasting Porellies ice cream BUT it ain't as good as the Esplanade café. That's best tasting ice cream for miles & miles around. PS. Watch out for the crack in the toilet ???? for the disabled if u have to sit on the seat.
Returned again on Friday 16th September 2022 with my friend & I had the Chicken soup BUT I don't think it had cream in it when I done my last review & there was none in it this time.
I asked for it hot & it came that way BUT it had a slight greasy coating on top yet the soup tasted real good with bits of chicken????in it & the slightest greasy coating on top would no doubt help lubricate my arthritic joints. My stake pie was very good & there were NO bits of tough or fat meat in it & there was a lovely tasty piece of puff pastry on top, there was plenty of thick gravity but a wee bit too strong tasting for me & the brussel sprouts weren't too bad either. I was a bit disappointed with the mashed tatties, they were a bit too dry & only luke warm.
I was a wee bit disappointed that there was NO custard left to accompany my Carmel apple betty, but I got a choice of ice cream, skushie cream (aerosol) or pouring cream. I opted for the later. Still it was a most enjoyable afternoon out & so far the staff were easy to converse with & I was told that there was a new toilet ???? seat fitted just after I last reported it being cracked ????

Lovely lovely wee cafe! It got busy very quick and that speaks volumes. Staff are so friendly and have excellent customer service skills. The food was outstanding and it’s such a nice atmosphere in the cafe. Would highly recommend. Also! Has fab gluten free options! Was so happy to find gf French toast with bacon and maple syrup ???? ????

This little cafe has some charm, the place is clean and cozy, the cashier/server gentleman was nice and the food came out promptly. They have some unique recipes on their menu, and I really like their lentil soup.

Great wee place! Visited last Saturday and had the Cajun chicken ciabatta with a hot chocolate which were both absolutely delicious! Cakes delish too! Staff were all very lovely and service was super quick too ????????

I got salt'n'chilli chicken, chips, curry sauce, it was very salty, I think they put gravy first as mistake then covered up with curry sauce ontop,(which it should have been)as eating there was gravy clearly at bottom. have had many sit in meals great, gd big portions, quick service but bit disappointed today.

Well over priced for a cafe, steak pie had burnt taste to it, opted for this as even more expensive for roast dinner, staff are very friendly though and it’s a nice cafe

Love love your food.. Food is Amazing..
Better than any other cafe ,Restaurant in the whole of Inverclyde & probably further.. Delivery is great & the girl that delivers is just the nicest wee lassie..

Breakfast is just the best sausages are amazing. I've had the spaghetti Bolanise & the best sauce I have ever Tasted..
