Got delivery and it was a bit of a let down. It looked proper and had an authentic feel but simply didn’t taste fresh. The sauces didn’t really have much kick and didn’t have the acid needed to cut through the richness of the beef. The limes alongside were dry with little or no juice. The chicken taco was our preference with mango habanero. The beef tasted good, but dry. Steak needed to be trimmed better because it was very chewy with bits of silver skin throughout. I’d be willing to try this place again but it would have to be in-house. I hope dining in will be a fresher zestier experience.

This is my second time eating tacos from la Patrona and they where perfect .. tasty , juicy and hot , the meat cooked so well the flavors 10/10 thank you for this tacos it deserves full stars

Food is amazing, authentic Mexican tacos, lots of types and flavors. The restaurant location could be better, they are moving soon though, hopefully improving this aspect.
I don’t like the brunch service cause they keep you unserved for an hour hoping you would get quite full with the buffet options, and then they start bringing the real deal, big taco trays of different flavors, when you are almost full. Just bring the tacos earlier!
Nevertheless, I recommend it, food is great and it is worth it! Convenient price as well

Amazing hidden gem in the centre of the city. If you love Mexican food, you will love this place.

The place itself is very simple, not big, but the atmosphere and great service makes up for it.

The food is yummy. I ordered rib-eye tacos and guacamole with chips which were mouth watering and delicious. The portion sizes are big and main dishes come with refried beans and chips.

The price is also affordable for such good quality food. Definitely recommend dining here.

Had the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos: it smelled and tasted horrible. However, the Baja Shrimp Tacos were decent.

BEST Mexican food in ALL of Abu Dhabi! Especially dipping their delicious tacos in the hot broth they provide? It will take your taste buds to new heights. Just do it. You’re welcome.

Heard good things about La Patrona especially their unlimited taco brunch on Saturdays , so thought to give it a go...

While you wait for your piping hot tacos to arrive at your table with (3 different fillings : fish, chicken and meat) they serve you 2 different delicious drinks , freshly made natchos & bean dip. You also can help yourself from the small buffet offering grilled chicken, 2 types of meat , tortilla, rice, very tasty vegetable soup and addictive green chillies ( I couldnt stop eating it ) .

Service was fantastic. The only disappointment for me is that they don't offer any type of dessert ????

At 89 dhs/ pp this brunch is such a great bargain.
