Delighted to finally get to see one of the 3 cathedrals in the Diocese of Leeds. Thanks to the Dean for the guided tour. A lovely place of worship, welcome and reflection for the whole community.

A peaceful and historical church to visit. Beautiful stain glass windows and also two lovely ladies who volunteer their time to welcome you once you enter. They are very helpful on the information on the Cathedral and the surrounding areas. I loved it there.

What an absolute stunning interior from the Rood Screen, to the ceilings, extensive stained glass and the tombs and monuments inside. I visited at around 8.20am, was surprised to see it open opening time was 8am and for people.lile me who want to marvel at the interior going that early is worth it a I had the Cathedral to my self. They also had a selection of guide books for sale which help to support the Cathedral.

Great night at orchestra by candle light, a tribute to Adele.
Good atmosphere friendly people as well.
Maybe the way the seats were arranged could be better, either staggered or in a semi circle as visibility of the orchestra wasn't possible from where I was sitting, and row D had been moved to the sides which actually have them a better view.
On the whole thank you for a great night lovely music and acoustics.

Went to Wakefield cathedral to sign condolence book on the day of queen's funeral. The Queen had visited Wakefield cathedral on more than one occasion. I've grown up with this cathedral lived in Wakefield all my life my parents were married here. The cathedral is beautiful although I preferred it when it had the old pues and not free standing chairs. There's also a little cafe and shop

Very welcoming, a lovely mix of old medieval stone building and carvings along with some beautiful modern craftsmanship, such as the cross-legged Madonna and amazing pulpit. Excellent cafe and shop next door.
