Oh what a place ! Excellent range of cheeses, chutneys, pies and all things you would need to accompany.

Bought a couple to try at home and they were delicious. Can recommend the fig and honey cheese for definite and will be back for others to sample when we are next in the area.

Our favourite cheese shop. A little off the beaten track but love to pop in and treat ourselves. The humour is fab and the staff lovely. All varieties of ???? we've tried have been excellent. Enjoy ????

This family-owned cheese shop is quite simply fantastic. They have an impressive array of cheeses, complemented by a level of knowledge that made it possible to create the perfect cheese board for our wedding. We were in the area from abroad, but they assisted us at very short notice to make our wedding party a success, and everyone enjoyed every morsel of their delicious cheeses. I only wish we could order a large Hartington Bomber to Portugal!

Jess at the Cromford Mill cheese shop is such a lovely, thoughtful and professional lady who runs the most wonderful cheese shop. We asked Jess over a year and a half ago if she could create us a cheese wedding cake and wow! We received a wedding cake but also a work of art and something (once we told our guests) became a focal point of excitement and intrigue. What Jess had made was a four-tier cheese wedding cake that was simply incredible as a show piece as well as tasting absolutely amazing! Everyone managed to have plenty of cheese, along with crackers, chutneys and a vast assort of fruit surrounding it, and threw endless amounts of praise for us to appreciate and share back to Jess on the work of art she created for us. We still have absolutely loads of cheese left which, if stored correctly, will last us months! Plenty of time to reminisce on our special day as well as enjoy some incredible cheese.

Thank you so much Jess for a truly amazing cake that we simply cannot ‘brie’lieve you made for us!

We thoroughly recommend visiting the Cromford Mill cheese shop, not necessarily for a giant wedding cake as they stock a lot of different types of cheese, crackers, Chutneys and lots of little gifts.

Visited this shop to buy some cheese. Was a little surprised how small the shop was but they have some nice cheeses on show and for sale. Overall a good experience, would be 5 star if more cheeses available.

Excellent selection of cheese and ales usually call in when on a trip of Derbyshire. Love the area great village nice pubs. Would love to visit again when safe to do so
