Went there for the afternoon high tea, ensure you make reservations. The experience was one of the best, it used a multi course approach to high tea to include a live cheese service held by one of their chefs. It was one of the most elevated high tea experiences I've enjoyed. We also had a gluten free option, which was great. Unlimited teas to include the option to order the gold leaf espresso. This was a great experience that I would recommend to all.

If you ever visit Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi make sure to try their gold coffee it is pricey for the gold but the experience is totally worth it! Who wouldn’t want to have gold in their coffee right? Make sure to bring your love ones here.
The place is absolutely beautiful the decors and the ambiance is totally luxurious. They have wide selection of beautiful pastries as well.

Fantastic ambience.
Professional staff, fast and high quality service and really good coffee and desserts!
I would like to visit this place one more time.

That was one of the best culinary experiences for deserts!!!!
We had Cappuccino package which includes Gold cappuccino and strawberry mojito cake.
The cake just melted in my mouth. So tender and delicious. As for cappuccino it was simply beautiful!!!!
Strongly recommend to everyone to enjoy that opportunity as a life time experience!!!!

The security guard inside the Emirates Palace hotel refused me entry to cafe area on the basis of having no reservation.

I walked over to another entry point and security allowed me in. To be honest this tainted my experience as a tourist to this venue.

However, the café area was fantastic, the café staff were helpful, friendly & offered advice on various items available. The cakes and gold flake coffee is amazing!

4 stars due to the entry issue.

All the hype and glitz. Cappuccino presentation was gorgeous. Taste was ok. I enjoy my coffee hot or cold. This was barely warm. Not the best temperature. For the price tag I expected to be knocked off my feet. The cakes we ordered made up for the lackluster coffee. Had to check this off our list, for the novelty idea. Albeit an expensive item on the list. Anyhow. Live and learn. We had awesome photos in the palace, though. But for coffee? Go somewhere else, imo.

This cafe sits right inside of the dome in one of the world’s most luxurious hotel - Emirate Palace. The signature 24 carat gold cappuccino sprinkled with gold flakes, at the price of AED 85. Interesting to have a try.

terrible service. we were in the capital to enjoy the weekend and stopped for lunch here. the only thing we were able to get was just coffee. waiter brought it after 30 minutes and run away. friends of mine who stayed in the palace complained about the same situation.
