This airport hotel has a lot going for it, but some notable disadvantages. The decor is hip, up-to-date, and that makes the stay more fun. The rooms are very nicely laid out and attractive.

However, there's no shuttle bus to the airport, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the departure hall without baggage. On the other hand, if you have bags, you must drag your luggage across very busy traffic circles and sidewalks that are broken in places. I guess it depends on how much baggage you have. In the rain, it would be miserable. The path could have been more clearly sign-posted.

Also, note that like many hotels in Scotland, there is no air conditioning. This probably won't matter unless you are there in June, July, or August.

Staff were friendly but very inexperienced, excessively casual, and somewhat dismissive of guest questions. In order words, they would help guests and briefly answer questions, but they were much more focused on chatting with each other.

Nice decor and great location to airport, tried to request a late check out but don't think the guy behind desk knew what I was talking about giving me dirty looks when asking a simple question. Customer service very poor, for such a good looking hotel the man behind check in desk let it down for myself. The woman that was being seen before myself was also not happy with the attitude of the guy behind check in desk maybe more customer service training, a smile goes a long way.

I'm providing a 1-star review due to ParkingEye. I was in the lot for 18 minutes to drop off luggage before turning in the rental vehicle, which was across the road. Went through the appeal process which took about a month, unsuccessfully. Beware and prepare if you choose this hotel. Soured my experience.

Definitely a convenient spot next to the airport. It's walkable distance, and relatively straight forward.

The rooms were decent. Clean and comfortable.

The staff/service was fairly poor. I'm uncertain if the staff was new. There appeared to be only one employee that was putting any effort in.

An excellent location to catch the air link from Waverly station. The air link drops you off right out front. The decor is quirky and enjoyable, not so much the menu. They also only cook burgers one way; to death. The rooms are very small, but quite efficient if you're just staying the night for a flight. The staff was excellent and very helpful, they even printed out our boarding passes for us.

Rooms are clean and a decent size, although glass for fixtures shows up all the scratches which probably wasn't their smartest design decision. No wardrobes, few hangers and a hook provided instead. Breakfast offering is pretty poor for dairy free/vegan, everything is basic and the toaster is so slow. Bar has a nice vibe, expensive drinks but expected for airport hotel. Within walking distance of trams. Big car park, expensive to park. Staff are friendly, there's just not enough of them as always had to queue for bar/reception.

After having our flight cancelled at the last minute, the airline put us to this hotel.

I couldn’t be more impressed with it here! Clean, food is amazing and a very calm atmosphere.

Would like to give Ann the crew leader a big shout out! There was nothing to inconvenience her, lovely girl! 10/10 to you Ann!

The beds are comfortable and the location is fabulous for catching a flight, but the service is so atrocious that I would never recommend it. Rude staff, TV didn't work, they were out of an exorbitant percentage of their drink selection, one of the elevators was out of service, and they literally do not answer the phone. I have never felt so frustrated and unhelped as a hotel guest.

Hotel was modern, clean, and very convenient. Great solution to an early morning flight. I imagine some of the more negative reviews may have occurred before a refresh that looks quite recent. The hotel is within walking distance of various car rental pick up/return, as well as the airport. Note that they do charge for parking (which didn't affect us after returning our rental car.)
