You can reach Louvre by taxi, by tourist Big Bus and city bus line 94, provided you have a Halifat card (the equivalent of the Dubai NOL card). The price of travel is probably about 4 AEDs, I'm not sure, because I never checked how much money goes off my account. But rather not more.

Good collection. Nicely setup. All museum lovers will like this place. The name needs no mention, they are the best in the world. There is a seating area and restroom after every exibition specially for those who plan to visit with children and old people.
Overall a nice place to visit with family. Be prepared for lots of questions from your kids ????. They will also love the place.
The ticket price is very reasonable.

It was listed as open when checked prior to leaving in the am,but on arrival to park and enter, there seemed to be somethingon , so we were told and we (along with others) were sent on a wild goose chase to find non existent parking... we ended up heading home.

This is the last stop from the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The bus connects from the airport to Louvre around 50 minutes with perfect air-conditioning. I had eight hours transit time, and I managed to get out from the airport, jumped on the bus, took three hours to go through Louvre, and came back to the airport.
Note that the bus departs every an hour, so plan your schedule properly in advance. If you don't have local currency, there is a currency exchange in the airport right next to the bus ticket booth. I do not know but I always buy the e-ticket for the bus.
