This museum is run by volunteers.
Went there on Tuesday 3rd January with family members while on my Christmas break.
Had a very knowledgeable guide named Luke who took us around the boat yard and museum, and answered questions we had.

Myself and 14 year old visited. Initially declined the offer of a tour. But Peter came by and after a minute in his company I knew we should let him show us around. Basically not just a Museum but active restoration workshop. It was fascinating. I would definitely recommend a visit. There is also an Escape Boat the only one in the UK. The staff are lovely all volunteers and happy to answer questions and give information whilst they work on the various ongoing projects

Wonderful welcoming place with large number of exhibits showing maritime history of Pembroke Dock. We were given a personal tour of the museum.

Insightful, friendly, welcoming museum with a bounty of boats abounding. A most knowledgeable tour guide, Luke, took us around and showed us the various pre-loved and newly refurbished boats. We got the chance to see the voluntary boat builders at work.
A great hour spent visiting and would recommend to anyone keen to get a better understanding of all things maritime. We went on a rainy day from Tenby area and was very easy to reach and perfect when not such great weather.
Thanks to the volunteers making such a great museum.

Thanks to the passionate volunteers for giving up their time not only to preserve an important part of the heritage and culture of Pembroke Dock, but to enthusiastically engage with my family and I during our visit on a Monday morning in February.

A hidden gem and a much more rewarding experience than I was expecting.

We had lovely time. Our guide explained the history of the boats in their collection. When you visit please remember this museum is run by enthusiastic volunteers who have a passion for restoring historic and vintage sailing boats.

Fantastic museum. So much to see. Volunteer staff are great. We had a guided tour. Great tea and cake. Free parking and interesting books on sale. Well worth a visit.

Lovely quirky museum run by a gang of hard working unpaid enthusiasts with a real love of saving beautiful old boats. Luke was a great tour guide
