I have been with arena properties for more than 2 years and I had the best possible experience and service any agency could provide. They don't try to rip you off with high agency fees, offers cheap rent with a decent accommodation meeting all the regulations and requirements. They are very selective in terms of their tenants and that is why I cherish my stay with good housemates. I wish you guys all the best to keep up the good work.

I was a tenant of Arena Properties for more than one years. I have seen some comments from other tenants here. Interestingly, they fall into two extremes. Here, I try to give a neutral and fare comment.

Arena Properties provides almost cheapest rooms with an acceptable living condition, and always try hard to manage the houses well. However, sometimes Arena Properties seems to be short of hands and being a little bit of delay to do some repairing jobs (for example fence in the garden) which doesn't really matter for me. Maybe they are not as professional as big agency like Direct Housing. As a compensation, they work in a more flexible and personalised way. I clearly rememberer Sandy came to our house to open the door for a tenant who locked herself outside of her room at SUNDAY EVENING. From my own point of view, both Sandy and Jigar are very sound and very nice, although sometimes we made fun of their low efficiency in replying calls. They are more like friends not the usual cold shoulder "professional" agency in UK.

In conclusion, if you are sensitive to cost of living, Arena Properties is the best place I recommend! Especially suitable for these come from third-world countries and spend most of their time at work.

I have been with Arena properties for almost two years and will stay for at least another year until my PhD comes to an end here in Birmingham. Both Sandeep and Jigar try their up most best to run this agency smoothly. I have had personal experience with both these guys and they would go that extra mile just to keep their tenants happy. Just to mention a few; I was given a free ride when I initially arrived in Birmingham to the station as i was running late, Sandeep also bought me a sandwich which really meant a lot to me. They would regularly ask me if everything was fine and if I needed anything to feel more comfortable as they realized that being away from family can be a difficult time. All issues were addressed rapidly with satisfactory outcomes. An example of a issue I faced was that I required internet as the provider was being changed, Jigar bought me a free dongle to use internet until the net had become available. Now you don`t get this service else where. This was just to mention a couple of good gestures. I understand it is impossible to provide this sort of service to every tenant but you must remember that they do try their best and work out of office hours just to make your stay more relaxing. I have no complains about the accommodation I am staying in hence why I have been here for the past two years. I believe that this is an extraordinary achievement from two hard working dedicated individuals. Been very happy with the service they have provided and you get what you sign for on the contract, so you don`t get any hidden charges or shocks later on. They have made my stay in Birmingham remarkably peaceful which is crucial for me as I am student and I have made friends for life though this agency. I have already recommended these guys to my colleagues at work.
Keep up the good hard work Sandeep and Jigar. Wish you both all the best in running Arena Properties. Hope your business thrives and more people are touched by your caring nature as I have been.

Terrible service and disingenuous staff. They clearly stated on the advertisement that the bills would be included, but four months later, the landlord asked me to pay for electricity and water. The agency also reiterated how they can b contacted regarding any issues to do with the property, for example utility equipment not working, when I contacted them about the washing machine, they were quick to point me in the direction of the ladlord and said they are not responsible for anything to do with the property and that I should deal directly with the landlord. Terrible agency, I would avoid. There are plenty of other decent agents that follow best practice in the Birmingham area.

Best experience, good services, everything was ready on time when it was needed it. When I came from Cyprus they helped to transfer all my staff from storage to the property without any charge. So, I would not say that anyone who employ Arena for tenant making their life a living hell.

Jigar Bhagalia and Sandeep Singh are the 2 directors of this company and the main sales people. Both are liars and prepared to be aggressive to get their own way.

Avoid arena sales (a.ka. arena properties). A quick summary of my experience on renting a flat from them:
- I had to take them to court to get my deposit protected.
- Arena lied about the property and what was included
- Arena attempted an illegal eviction when I complained about the property standard
- Arena have refused to complete any maintenance work.

Based on the other reviews I expect that arena will reply with some excuses or rubbish, casting doubt on the situation.

There is an active proposal to strike off the company. I wouldn't be surprised if these individuals start a new company without the bad name arena has. Avoid them anyway.

In conclusion, avoid the company and individuals.

I had two viewings booked with this agency on the same day; the agency confirmed the bookings on the day and when I arrived at the location to met the agent I have been told that both rooms have been let. The agent was trying to show me some other rooms but they one was locked as they never told the tenant that somebody is coming and at the other property the tenant agreed to a last minute viewing as she was home but then I witnessed a 15 min long argument between the tenant and agent about the leaving date. I made a complaint because I was very disappointed, mainly because I was really convinced I will take one of the two rooms as I need to move soon, but the agency never apologized, only "thanked me for the feedback". Arena properties are very unreliable and unprofessional.

I was moving to Birmingham and I needed a room quickly. I arrived delayed to the viewing and Jigar was really helpful and comprehensive. The rent is good for the area, I've stayed for 5 moths and it was a great experience. Thanks a lot!
