A clean place but unfortunately didn't offer any breakfast options. The host was really nice and couldn't do enough for us. The room was exceptionally clean and even had some nice little touches.

We were showed the other rooms and apartments and I have to say we sold stay again as these have a self catering option with a lovely kitchen.

We will stay again...Great central location for sight seeing.

Fantastic views all around, ruin itself doesn't take long to look round. But nice place to spend time on a sunny day. Friendly staff and nice little visitor centre.

The castle certainly isn’t the biggest of castles, truthfully you could probably see all it has to offer in less than a hour however the setting and the scenery make this a really beautiful place to visit. Personally I would make this a stop for lunch, fetch a picnic and look out from the castle grounds to the beautiful sea.
There is parking close by, the information area inside is well presented and very interesting and the gift shop and toilets are again well presented.
5/5 as it is very well maintained, staff were all pleasant and the view out to the sea is stunning

A lovely, small, Welsh Castle with some stunning views over Criccieth and the surrounding mountainous landscape.

Entrance to the castle is up a steep but short climb.

Small but interesting castle, the fortification changed hands several times. Fantastic views of Criccieth. Partly ruined, but you can still see the remains of the siege engine tower.
It's a short walk up but fairly steep, there are benches at the top to enjoy the views.

Absolutely stunning.
Easy to park.
Beautiful little town and place to visit.
Absolutely magical on a nice day.

Car parking is £1-2.

Stunning views over Snowdonia, Cardigan Baby and Llyn Peninsula but medieval strongholds, especially to compare with Welsh ones, do not offer much to explore itself.
Huge historical background but just a bit to discover.
Quite expensive and first time ever had a not really nice welcome in Cadw property.

Great looking on overview, panoramic pics and postcards.

The castle is open during peak season and weekends. (Check when you're planning a visit) Grounds aren't accessible until then. Beautiful surroundings and beach though
