It was a fun experience! I bought quite a few bottles back but be aware that you won’t be tasting any whisky.

It’s our fault not to read the details of the tasting. However, To name it a whisky tour has set the wrong expectations for me.

Overall, we enjoyed it :) Hope you’re whisky will taste good as the spirits.

So overall it was fairly interesting and nice to see the inside of an active distillery!
What would have made it better is if there had been a very clear up front communication that there won’t actually be any whiskey as part of the whiskey tasking because the distillery is so young they don’t have any barrels that have aged the 3 years that’s are required- according to the whiskey guidelines. We booked this expecting to taste whiskey so this was pretty disappointing. I know it is somewhat mentioned on the website but not in words easily understood by none Whiskey experts. If this had been communicated transparently before maybe even with a discount code for the first bottle once there is whiskey come autumn we would have felt differently about it.
Considering there was already no whiskey it would have been nice to have the tour done by someone with expert knowledge who had been working in the industry for years. Our tour guide was very but no whiskey expert.
The stuff we tasted was good but nothing compared to what we got 20m down the road.
I am sure the whiskey in autumn will be fantastic but sadly we won’t be in Edinburgh to taste it.

A pioneer and a trailblazer in a new wave of scotch. Visually beautiful and very informative website provided good information about what they had to offer. They have guided tours including scotch, gin, beer and cocktails and they also have the opportunity to taste the whiskies by yourself without having to take a tour which for me was the best option. Even with the individual whisky tasting the staff member comes to give you a short explanation about whiskies, the distilleries and the tastes of the drams you're about to taste. I sat on second floor in thr corner table which had a nice view over Arthur's peak where I climbed after the tasting in a rain (which I don't recommend). All in all very nice distillery visit and I wish them all the best in conquering the scotch field of Scotland!

The guide Bryce was amazing! Very good in explaining the technique of gin and whiskey production, but also keeping it simple and easy to remember. I was a little bit doubtful whether to do the tour or not, as the distillery is pretty new, but I was very positively surprised, I recommend it!

Brilliant location, design, tour and taste. Well worth a visit. A new distillery that is taking care to research and use tradition while injecting a modern feel to the process. Will visit again in a few years to see how their products evolve. Brilliant to support a new start up and help it grow!

Cool Tour and the gin is absolutely fabulous. I drink a lot of different Gins, but the height of arrows gin is really the first one that tastes so great neat.

We did the tour through the distillery and it was very informative. Definitely recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the distillery. Neil was extremely informative and his breadth of knowledge was incredible. He explained the whisky (no 'e' - I was listening) making process and we enjoyed learning how to fully enjoy our whisky - warm, look, smell and then taste. The whisky was delicious! We wish you all the success at the distillery.

Fantastic tour! A new distillery trying all kinds of new techniques! I've not tried New Make Spirit before so that was interesting. Very enthusiastic tour guide. The gift shop has a range of bottles including minutes. There's also a bar. First aged whisky is coming late 2023 they said.
