Plenty of space and toilets on site. £1 and free for blue badge holders. The ticket machine only accepts cash. Plenty of nice walks from this car park. Both directions of the trans pennine trail.

Good for a walk around Torside Reservoir, but a couple of niggles,
1) the price of the car park, it's essentially very low maintenance, but £1 an hour? Up to nearly £5 for the day. Too expensive,
2) the path around the lake has been blocked because the bridge over the weir is unsound, but it's been like that for many months, possibly over a year and no one has done anything about it. In addition there's no guidance on how to complete the walk, it's just very shoddy.

Good location for the carpark close to the reservoirs. Good location for dog walks and it's not too busy, quite flat too if you are not up for hill walks. But bring change for the cap park meter- it's not supported by parking apps!

It's a car park so not much to say. But it's relatively cheap with great walks heading off from it. Also there's a public toilet which makes it a good stop off point as you head over the Pennines.

Surprisingly cheap for short stay, the main reason I went here was to explore the reservoir but it appears that the public are not able to access. Turn around and walks going in different directions are available. A really stunning woods where trees are planted as a tribute to those who have sadly passed (such a beautiful gesture). We didn't travel too far, we walked for a bit and enjoyed the view over the res. There are benches close to the car park, toilets are onsite and the car park shouldn't break your car. Would have loved to get to the water's edge tho, there is a sailing club with boats and equipment on site so obviously they don't want lots of people wandering around unattended. Would recommend, there are plenty of hills and trails to explore

Ample parking spaces.. But parking charges are only payable by coin.. The machine does not accept card payments or any online payments..

A great starting point for some Bleaklow scrambling.

Pay and display machine is coins only which is a bit dated

Great carpark with good facilities, could do with online payment or card payment at the machine, coins only.
