There were staff on hand to help a young mum with a push chair and luggage from the train. Signage was clear and plenty of seats if waiting although even more would be good. Had trouble exiting from the station as electronic gates couldn't read my e-ticket. However, a member of staff quickly came to our aid and overrode the machine to let us through.Toilets were clean and easily accessible.

Huge station, short walk to the town.
Signs were clear -- less chances of being lost.
Has qr code scanner for mobile tickets. Has a big booth too just incase you are bringing a huge luggage.

It's got a good waiting room and good screens to sign the next train but the loos were shut which was annoying. Why they couldn't temporarily let men use the womens in the middle of the day felt like poor management.

QR codes and scanning for pre-purchased tickets online. Staff was very friendly and helpful with giving directions. Clean station. Train came on time. Great way to go from Salisbury to London/ Waterloo.

Just had to say a great thanks to all the team at the station and costa for the inconvenience of the the train failure today thay worked very quickly to help sort and get us all on our way .no great for the train to fail but if it dose this station is were I would like to be hats off to you guys

This is an old railway station. Excellent for getting to the mainline to Paddington or going to the West Country. But you can go anywhere from this station in reality. Good car park, near shops & not too far from Salisbury Cathedral with its Tall Spire.

Was coming home after theatre and unfortunately trains were cancelled and they put on taxi to take us home
I was well impressed as never us public transport

For a train station, it is on the better side of fine. Could do with a lift. Also, jaffa cakes and less people.
