Annapurna is an Asian restaurant located in Le Meridian in Abu Dhabi serving Thai, Indonesian, Viatnamese and Japanese cuisine. The logo represents himalayan peaks with two kookris crossed thus hinting it's Nepalese background. Surprisingly only the name is Nepalese/Indian but the menu misses Nepalese/Indian cuisine. Suggest to expand the menu to include Nepalese cuisine which is not available in the city.
They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. Outdoor sitting in the green would be pleasant during evenings. The indoor is quite spacious with a corner for live band.
Along with the food they also serve alcohol, mocktails and shisha (only in the evening). One of the very few places in the city to have this combination.
We ordered
Japanese Spider roll sushi,
Viatnamese rolls.
Japanese kani salad,
Indonesian Nasi goreng rice
Chicken Holy Thai Basil
Lemon mint mojito and
Purple haze mocktail
The food was yummy and justified the true taste of the land of origin.
Pratiksha and Bishnu were prompt in serving and ensured everything is in place.
Portions are generous and presentation is appealing.
Ideal place to spend an evening in the outdoors.

Highly recommend!!! Great food, big portions, friendly staff and fast service, beautifull outdoor dining, and dessert is must try. I had fried banana with ice cream, delicious!!!

Tried out Annapurna Restaurant at Le Meridian village twice recently so decided to write this review. When you hear the name you’d think they serve Indian food but NO! Instead they have Asian, Thai & Japanese.
Tried quite a few items -

- chicken steamed momos & chicken chili momos : I did not enjoy the chilli ones as they were hard n crusty & the sauce coated over wasn’t standing out but the steamed momos were pretty nice and served piping hot. The Momo sauce it came with, was not so spicy for me but I’m sure many would find it so. The garlic feeling stands out prominently. Oh not to forget, 10 PCs to a plate at AED 40! ????
- dynamite shrimp : those who ate it loved it.
- spicy finger chicken : nicely tossed tasty chicken just as described & great to go with drinks
- chicken fried rice : what they have on the menu is chicken pineapple fried rice but we requested for it to be without the pineapple which they accommodated. This tasted good!
- chicken mongolian spicy : again it’s not spicy and I think the chicken was slightly hard here but the dish itself was tasty with babycorn and a few veggies and came with a portion of jasmine rice. Overall a good meal.

The staffs a bit slow on busy/weekend evenings when the place is full but during the day their service is quite prompt.
I Liked the outside seating of course specially if your having some drinks. They have plenty alcohol options too and are open until 2am (I think)

Top it off with 25% Zomato Pro makes it better ????????????

We were here for a Thursday late brunch and we enjoyed the place a lot. The food was delicious and the drinks also (we only had beer, but it was great). The staff are very nice and hospitable. They assisted us with everything we needed and suggested the meals for us. They are all very knowledgeable. The price of the brunch is also affordable. Great value for money. Looking forward to visiting again.

OVER RATED!! I went there this evening, first it started with the blond lady at the reception. I asked her about the Indian restaurant ( I thought that it is Indian, given that I quickly checked the high rating without noticing the cuisine type and assumed it is indian), any ways she replied back that she works at the hotel and knows better in a rude way, without even asking about the restaurant name. Then we headed to the restaurant, the lady there obviously didn’t want to help us with the order. We ordered tum yum soup and the chicken tasted really bad. After that the fried rice arrived and similarly it was bad. The place is totally for people who drink alcohol and not suitable for the ones who are looking for decent asian food. Add to that the slow service and the restaurant wasn’t fully occupied.

Had the brunch with friends. Choice of different starters, mains sushi and drinks served to the table. All of them delicious and abundant. Excellent service by both the waitress and the manager. I highly recommend the brunch!

Disgusting shop!!! Turns fridges off over night as you can tell with the mouldy cheese and silver bacon they sell, I bought a block of cheese last minute from here and was covered in mould!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Use other shops they shouldn't even be in business selling produce like that. Just be very cautious when buying stuff refrigerated from here.

Sells mouldy products and out of date milk stay away this place is disgusting and dirty! I'm sure the fridges don't work ????????
