Beautiful views, tough walk with high elevation of around 2000 feet. Rocky areas but totally worth the hike, was very busy.

Stayed at Newfold campsite for a night. Walked from there up to the summit of Grindslow Knoll and back on an evening. Was 2.5 miles and mainly on a rocky track. Decent view on the first bit of the walk, then mist and no view at the top. Passed the official start point of the Pennine Way which was cool. Quite steep in places but a decent walk. 24.1mph winds at the top!

Challenging walk! Walked up from Edale village which is picturesque after a bite to eat at the Penny Pot cafe. Parked in the main car park near the cafe but it was very busy and we only just managed to get a space. It's lovely and scenic but be prepared for a steep climb and coming down the other side isn't much easier either.

Was a very nice walk, heavy terrain in parts. A nice latte from the cafe in edale village at the end to finish it off.
