Interesting view…
We booked an infamous high tea at the Observation Deck at 300, aiming for the sunset (timing). We knew sunset view was upon availability, but when we arrived we were given one of the best tables of the house. Unlimited hot/cold tea/coffee, staff friendly though somewhat overwhelmed, after initial very tasty aperitif first tea/coffee order did only arrive after checking and a 30 minutes wait. What we didn’t realize is that the “view upon availability” meant that the availability could be replaced by a view on the butts of people who shamelessly come to stand by the window in front to take pictures of themselves and the view. After the sunset staff blocked off the window passage and moved our table somewhat closer but our intended relaxed sunset view high tea had proven to be a crowded / stressed sensory experience. Taste wise, some of the layered sweets were very surprising and tasty. We were lucky to be able to use the BB+, but as an experience would not go for the high tea (on a Saturday) the way it’s set up. View is amazing and could see going for a beverage that’s accompanied by a snack, minimum spend 55 AED. Great concept, execution could be better.

Observation deck 300 was actually awesome. They take you up on the elevator, thank God it's enclosed. You get all the way up to some astronomical floor and there's just a whole bunch of floor to ceiling windows which you can see everything. I would have loved to have tea there, but you have to book that in advance. The only drawback I didn't care for, was while people were trying to eat and have their tea there were people climbing all around them to get pictures out the window. But it is definitely a must see if you go to Abu Dhabi.

This place is exactly opposite to Emirates Palace, you can literally walk from emirates palace.
The entrance is free to the 74th floor but you need to make a bill of Minimum AED 35 at the cafe located in the observation area. You have decent snacks and drinks available in the menu which you can enjoy along with beautiful views.

Although everything was good this place, the glasses are not cleaned and the views are not clear because of the glasses are very dirty.

If the view is clear you can see emirates palace, Presidential palace and The Corniche from here which are most beautiful places in Abu Dhabi.

The observationdeck at 300 is located atop of the Conard hotel. You got unrivalled views across more or less the entire emirate of Abu Dhabi. The enterance fee is either 35 UAD which is paid downstairs before entering or what we found more appealing; pay 55 UAD for food and drinks per capita. The selection of food is best described as perfect for lunch, its a bit too easy for a dinner. I wholeheartedly recommend the Thai beef salad, which is a bit spicy, but that’s how I like it. Beware there are blue tinted windows in all corners and untinded in the centers. You know where to go for a perfect shot now!

Deserts and drinks are good, they should consider opening later than 8pm especially on weekends. Some stuff are old and decoration around were not up to standards of a 5 star place. Overall good

I booked the infamous afternoon tea to impress our visitors with fantastic views of Abu Dhabi and some great food but we only really got the good views.
I’ve been before a few years ago for the afternoon tea and could remember it being way better than it is nowadays.
We were quite disappointed by the upkeep of the furniture - seats had threads coming out of them or damage to the leather that hasn’t been fixed. This made it look and feel quite “tacky”. Considering it’s quite a luxury to pay 260 AED per person for an afternoon tea there, it would have been nice to have that same feeling when sat at the table.

Service was terribly slow. We had to ask 3 times in the space of around 20-30 minutes just for our second order of tea/coffee.

The food was fine but because they tried to theme the food to strawberries, the taste of the food want that great and the quality of the way they were made was not to standard. Cheesecake was a lump of mousse almost that just fell apart and the quality of the scones was shocking. The scones should be the best part of the afternoon tea but they were dry, no taste and also extremely small.

We still left feeling satisfied enough simply because of the views and probably the good tea/coffee.

A nice observation deck with a 360 degree view of Abu Dhabi. The view is beautiful. The place itself is quite small, frankly it took around 20 minutes to see everything and take photos. There are a lot of places to sit, but they are reserved for people who bought entrance with a restaurant visit. So in popular time you won’t be able to sit anywhere. Prepare to be asked to move from the window as well if someone is going to sit at the nearby table. There is a restaurant/bar up there for anyone who wants to enjoy their drinks with the view.

Tickets can be bought in advance and at the entrance as well. We couldn’t buy tickets online as it was said “sold out”, but when we arrived - the staff let us in.

Beautiful view of the city from a vantage point. the staff is friendly and the food is okay. the elevator moves quickly, get ready to experience ear barotrauma because of the change in pressure.
