It's very nice and has any item one could want, Persian carpets, gold, spices and herbs and lots of touristy things. But people don't really shop there. I think it used to be the original souq back in the day. Sadly, now people just go to huge companies instead of supporting local businesses.

A very beautiful mall. The architecture is wonderful and I love how it gives you a sense of old yet modern feel to it. The "old souk" is connected to the bigger mall and you walk outside and within a few steps you can get to the other side of the mall. Parking was good and the mall had many shops and when I went, it was very quiet and not busy (best time to go is always around dhuhr-asr time). A good selection of restaurants and cafes. Don't buy anything from the souk ,though, you can find everything at a dollar store for half the price! Like most malls in UAE, mainly for boujie tourists.

I love this place and always buy many trinkets I do not really need. It is well worth a visit as there are many shops stocking items of very good value.

The interior design gives a feeling of old traditional place.

It is not your traditional Souk, like Nife's Souq in Dubai. But it is ok.
