Fletching Primary is the most amazing, nurturing educational setting I have ever known. I have seen how primary schools have worked for over 30 years and this is by far the most excellent school I have ever come across. The head teacher Mrs White is the best I have ever met, she is so kind and considerate to each and every child, she manages the school in an excellent manner and the teachers are superb. I have two daughters at the school, in yr 5 and yr1. I moved my eldest to Fletching two years ago as she was being bullied in a larger town school. I travelled a 30 minute round trip twice a day to get her to the school but it was so worth it. Now we live closer so the travel is no issue. My eldest feels like she has been at Fletching for ever and is so ingrained in the school, she loves going in every day and has huge respect for every single pupil and teacher. My youngest daughter is flourishing at the school and is always asking at a weekend when is it school again as she can’t wait to go! I can not express how much I love this school, it has so much to offer from forest school, swimming lessons, cookery, animal care, gardening club, gymnastics and choir singing at Sheffield Park at Christmas which is a memory I will treasure forever! If you are looking for a primary school which offers a very good education in terms of learning and overall development please view Fletching Primary!

Fletching Primary is a wonderful school. Our elder son attends and he adores the school. He is being taught and learning in a warm and friendly environment. The staff are incredible and are very ably led. The breadth of extra curricular opportunities is fantastic and the school engenders each child with a true curiosity about themselves and the world around them. We could not be happier with this brilliant place of learning.

Fletching School has been an integral part of our lives for the last ten years and has consistently provided both of our children with a high standard of education and broader aspects of life.

The “Small school, Big Ideas” ethos is clearly demonstrated throughout the school and embraced by all the staff who strive to obtain the best out of every child within the school. It is a well-equipped school, with good facilities and teaching standards which are continually recognised during its inspections/reviews. It is highly regarded by all those that have an association with the school and the wider community. The Christmas/Summer plays are delivered to an exemplary standard, in addition to the wide range of clubs such as the “Kit Car” and the “Forest School” which are highly popular.

My son is now in his final year and preparing the transition into secondary school, undoubtedly his experiences at Fletching School have provided the essential foundations to further his learning journey.

I would have no hesitation recommending this excellent school.

Fletching school is simply amazing. The team of staff are positive and nurturing and this shines through our children. They are happy,confident and thriving young people. The many opportunities offered to our children such as forest school, in the setting of Sheffield park and services (especially the Christmas nativity) being held in the beautiful village church mean that it’s totally magical on so many levels. Set just outside the growing town of Uckfield it is perfectly positioned and must be considered by any parent who feels that the bigger schools are not for their children. Don’t miss exploring this gem of a school.

My son started Reception at this incredible school in 2018 and has skipped in every day since then. He is incredibly happy there due to the nurturing environment created by all the creative and hard working staff. He loves learning and has made huge improvements academically, socially and creatively due to the amazing atmosphere in the school. This really is school utopia!

I have been part of the Fletching School community for nearly 10 years. Firstly, with my eldest daughter, currently with my son in year 5, and in September my youngest daughter will be taking her place in reception class.
This school has been a huge part of all our lives and the kindness and togetherness of all involved, from the children to the parents to the staff, is without comparison. I am currently a TA at the School and feel privileged to be part of the Fletching community, both as a parent and as a staff member.

This is an amazing school! Fletching school is a big family! All the children get on, no matter what age they are!! My son has is thriving here, We live in the village and love walking over the fields to this incredible school, he has gained so much from it and we are so thankful to be a part of it! Come and see for yourself!!!

My daughter has attended the school since reception and is now in year 4. She loves the school for the teacher's and pupils caring and sharing attitude. She was very shy when she started school and she has grown and come out of her shell due to the fantastic nurturing qualities of everyone there. The school is like a large happy family and is perfectly described as a "small school with big ideas". I would heartily recommend anybody in the area with primary age kids or kids about to start school to pay a visit to see for yourself how brilliant it is.
