A large group (coach party) of us (Halton Ramblers) visited this pub after our various hikes. We were offered a warm welcome and some good beer. I had a few pints of the Guinness. Great pint.

Came here on a visit to Chirk and found this place. It had a good choice of beers and was clean. It was fairly quiet, and we found a seat not really noticing it was fairly dark there to find one of the bar staff come and turn the lights on, saying the pub was trying to save money which is a real shame. Later, we had live music, and the guy had a decent voice. Would definitely recommend this place, and I hope they make it through difficult times. The pub is a great place and hate seeing so many struggle

I just popped in for a pint at the end of a long walk - good beer and a lovely space in the front garden. Lots of locals were turning up to meet their mates.

A welcomingly warm place for a pint on a cold winter's day. Mid week and out of season, as would be expected, it was very quiet with no lunchtime food, but plenty of friendly locals to chat with ????

Nice pub welcomes dogs unfortunately didn't have any real alle in this visit. Very friendly well worth a visit .Will come again ????????nice ,clean well laid out

Old school boozer.Friendly staff and locals. Nice pint of fosters. Always call in for a pint when staying at the caravan park.

Went to the Stanton for New Year's Eve. Had an absolutely amazing evening. Elvis Presley Tribute Act was great.
