Liked: Owner's are very pleasant. Clean and tidy site. Pitches fairly level. Good location for the surrounding area. Easy access to the site. All amenities available on site. A brand new shower block was being built on site at the time of our visit. A temporary portable block is available to use during the construction. Bus stop very near to the site. Plenty of shopping within the area. Local pubs with in a walking distance.

Disliked: Noise from the busy road.

Liked: Very welcoming, clean and quiet. Even though the shower/toilet block was being refurbished (informed before stay) the temporary facilities were immaculate and fully functional. Pitches were clearly marked out with plenty of electric hookups available and the host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Excellent value for money and would definitely return.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Liked: Lovely clean site. Owners left you in peace but were available if you needed anything. Road noise in day but very quiet over night. Easy access to buses to either Cardiff or Barry so car not essential if in a motor home.Need levelers in some parts

Disliked: Only two toilets integrated with showers. So if you needed the toilet you had to wait till people had finished their shower.

Liked: The peace quiet and security felt was so lovely. Site not too big or small. Well kept and the owner was a lovely chap.
Yes they need more toilets and showers but the new shower and toilet block is under construction at present. The site was quiet so made no difference to us and I’m sure the new ones will be up and running by the school holidays.
I’d happily go back there to stay. Home feeling so relaxed.

Liked: A lovely peaceful and tidy little site with close access to local buses.
Temporary showers and toilets at present, but perfectly clean and functional.
Good area for walking with well signed footpaths. Pleasant local pub a short walk away in the village plus a small shop.

Liked: Lovely helful people.
Great scenery around.
Easy to access surrounding areas with beach, attractions and major stores within 10 minutes drive.
Peaceful setting.
Clean site.

Disliked: Main block of toilets are being refurbished so there could be a wait if there's a few on the site.

Liked: I was just staying the one night, prior to the Cardiff Tri - but this met my needs perfectly.
Finding the site and access were easy. Booking in and setting up were easy too.
New toilet/ shower facilities are being built but I was told in advance and, as occupancy was low, I found the temporary facilites of a high quality.
I hope to use the site again!

Liked: Really quite campsite had 2 amazing night's sleep. Great base to go see Cardiff and Barry. Would if stayed longer if we didn't have to get to caldicot for Thursday.

Disliked: Nothing
